Lovely pub staffed by lovely people. A great welcome always. Food is great as is the selection of /lagers. Highly recomended

Been there for lunch a few times recently. As many places it's quiet at the moment but lovely staff and good food served. The cod and chips was spot on and the lasagna and garlic bread another of our favourites.

It's a work in progress with new owners but it looks like they are making a good go of it. I called in for a pint which was nice and I understand they do home cooked food at a reasonable price. This could be an asset to the village. Speisekarte ansehen

Came here in a group of 9 adults on Sunday, fantastic food, good sized portions and wonderful French wine. We are the lamb, beef, duck and chicken between us and everyone loved it. Clearly the new owners are going to be great for this pub.

First time having food at the Portskewett Inn, I decided to go for the lasagne, when it came out it didn't look anything like lasagne it was bolognese with cheese on top, when I asked where the pasta was I got told there was pasta in it, you would have needed a magnifying glass to see it. Very disappointed

So glad this has been taken over and with some needed investment. Staff provide a lovely welcome and they remain engaged. Food is so much better, a different league altogether. I am sure the atmosphere will come with time as word gets round and people start to return to this village pub. Kudos to the new owners and staff. A massive improvement. Speisekarte ansehen

Just had Sunday lunch for the first time since the pub reopened under new management on Friday. The quality of the food was superb as was the service. Everything about the food was spot on from portion size to the locally sourced ingredients. Also a great selection of beers and wines. Brilliant value for money with a really friendly but professional atmosphere. We'll definitely be going back.

Had the most beautiful meal in the Portskewett Inn tonight. Although there is only 1 vegan dish written on the menu (a burger) there are many vegan dishes available. The chef was incredible, he came out and gave us options for starters and mains. The vegan meals were delicious! The asparagus risotto and the vegan bruschetta was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were brilliant, no request was too much. 100% recommend.

We stopped here for some food after seeing good reviews. The restaurant side was quiet initially, getting very busy by the time we left. I had cauliflower soup to start, which I found quite bland, but nice after a lot of salt and pepper. The bread was lovely but a lack of butter was annoying. My partner had the charcuterie board which was huge for a starter but the meat and olives were nothing special. We then had the 24 hour cooked lamb shoulder, which was so tough we could barely cut through it, even after asking for steak knives. The few bits I ate were stringy and tough and left me chewing for so long my jaw ached and I had to, embarrassingly, evacuate the mouthful into my napkin. I also... Speisekarte ansehen
