Powderkeg - Speisekarte

We were seated quickly and the ambience was quiet, not too difficult to carry a conversation. The meal was average but for the atmosphere 8/10.

The dining experience was excellent in the past, but now they only serve pizzas, which is quite disappointing. It's more suitable for just grabbing drinks now.

I really loved the Valentine’s menus and thought the food was great value. The place is beaut and the staff were very amicable! I will definitely go again with my pals! Speisekarte ansehen

Opentable said there were tables available to be booked. So we booked. Only to be told late at night and then with a phone call less than 2 hours before explaining there was no available tables. Disappointing

Amazing cocktails and very personalised service. Food was really good (but secondary to the cocktails for sure). I found the music slightly too loud but I guess it is a restaurant off the back of a bar and a Friday night.

We had a lovely relaxed meal with food that was very good. The evening was let down by the extremely slow service which is reflected in the review rating. Having said that the staff were very apologetic and gave us an additional free bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. Speisekarte ansehen

The pizza here is incredible, but be mindful of the portion sizes. One 20-inch pizza is more than enough for two people—there’s no need to order two! The cocktails were a bit of a letdown. While there were some nice options, the bar staff didn't quite manage to execute the classic cocktails well. I had a poor gimlet and a subpar martini, although the Manhattan was decent. Overall, the atmosphere was great!

I dined at Powderkeg in 2019, after having declared it the best brunch spot in London in 2018. Unfortunately, I found that the menu had changed quite a bit, and the dishes seemed rather generic and lacking in flavor. I won't be returning. While the ambiance is lovely, with a beautiful winter garden, I would likely have a different opinion if I hadn’t enjoyed such a fantastic experience there the previous year.

booked brunch for 12:00 and although they were open at 10:30 a.m., the space was empty when we arrived. the brunch menu is different from opentable, with not many options no fried chicken for example! smoked salmon were good, but I added sausage on the side, which was a mistake. they advertise a gloucester old spot, but I got bad quality. the food lasted 35 minutes to arrive, although we were the first to order 12 o'clock. drinks (young) were very good and the staff very pleasant.
