A lovely olde world pub with fantastic woodwork .. With privacy screens and low separation doors really brings back the olde days .. With a nice selection of real ales available

Visited the Prince Alfred on Sunday as they just opened and was delighted to get a seat at the dining rooms. Pub is old and quirky, staff is friendly and attentive and food is really good

Beer is fine, I don't know about the food, but for me it is all about the snugs, which as far as I'm aware are original. Should be full of tourist marvelling at how we used to drink, but it isn't. I always enjoy visiting, if not fitting through the little doors.

Had a lovely night with my wife and kids, it was our first time in the pub and we loved the everything, my regards to Giovanna, what a lovely young lady, that made us feel really welcome. Also thank you for the chefs that cooked us amazing meals. We will be definitely coming back soon.

Absolutely an amazing pub. Fantastic architecture and recently added to historic England's grade II* listed buildings. Wonderful little cubbies with beautiful glass work. Unfortunately they had no ales available early after a busy night. But had them running after 29 odd minutes. Definitely worth it visit Speisekarte ansehen

our first visit in this part of london and we had luck enough to be in this lovely pub. I love my beer and the beers here were excellent. special mention of czeska, who was very friendly and was a breath of fresh air. the food and service was excellent. I think lewis looked at us. really great atmosphere for an iondon pub.

I stumbled on this pub looking for a great destination for a family reunification and feel so happy to have done! The beautiful mahogany interior was just a small part of my amazing experience. the service was excellent with lewis on eating and czeska at the bar. so friendly and eager to serve us at the fall of a hat! my mother was also very impressed and lets just say that is not easy; very recommend!!!

great atmosphere, great staff and good food! I just moved into the opposite and found this jewel of a pub. I would recommend it very much. it impressed me and also my partner visited me at my new location. we went to the pub for drinks and then a meal in the restaurant and it was a top notch experience. the service was friendly and professional and the eating heavenly. beautiful place to also drink something.
