"queen of sheba, on a quiet street near paddington station, is a 17 year old jemeni restaurant with a fascinating atmosphere, hookah tower outside the coffee and charming cabins inside. as a sidenote, I am pleased to support an institution that could give back to a country suffering a difficult time. at the beginning were people and service low key and very nice and likely from the region. I ordered the lamb stew and a mango juice alcohol is not served. the stew came with a massive freshly baked broth. there were also some spicy homemade salsa on the side. the one-pot was clearly the right deal if you closed your eyes, you would never think you were in london. that said it wasn't entirely my style. there was too much meat and not enough broth and more crumble for me. I prefer East European suppening and perhaps Turkish. but credit is for being true what it is. I have ordered almost the lamb soup starter (without meat) for £ 3 and the 4 vegetables starter (served with mentioned brot) for £ 12. chicken dishes were perhaps more my style. that said I had a very nice time spent £17 including the mango shake, and would come back happy to explore the menu further or just sit in front and have a tee or coffee with a friend."

A large group of us decided to meet here after years and catch up, and we were greeted by the owner of the restaurant Ali, who made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to provide us excellent customer service! A genuinely warm ambience to enjoy some tasty Yemeni food, we will be back!

He was good too, the portions are. However, there was an area of satisfaction in which the lamb was dry, and when this was mentioned, there was really no resort and given the limited number of covers to time they would think they would take care of something more. really could have been recommended, but a place is also knowing how to fix any trouble or problems.

this Ethiopian restaurant offers them an experience with eating the community. the anjeera is the highlight of her menu and has it with one of the combinations that they will not be disappointed. the place can be quickly occupied so that they book before visiting. not all their guests would be impressed by the ambiente, but food lovers will appreciate it. service is good and so is the music. This is Yemeni cuisine, not the sort of thing you come across often.Huge portions, reasonably priced and excellent service (the middle eastern chap and the east European lady, I think). Nothing was too much trouble for them.We ordered soup and starters, then different sorts of meats and chicken that we shared. The portions were quite large, so ordering soup and starters was probably a mistake! The price was also reasonable for London

that was my first time in a jemenit restaurant. the food was good, the freshly squeezed juices were excellent. I had hummus and lammed with tears, my wife had a stew. I think the one-pot was the better offer, as the lamb and the rice were quite dry. the hummus was delicious and the brot was massive. the portions are quite large here, so they certainly won't get hungry. this restaurant does not serve any alcohol, but the waitress told us that the guests can bring their own.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
