This is exactly what a rural pub should be. Proper traditional, nothing fancy, no gimmicks, just well cooked pub grub and excellent beer with great service.

Good-sized portions of good food. Great ambience. Beer garden is a lovely sun trap in the Summer. Selection of ales is a little weak, but what they have is well-kept. Speisekarte ansehen

Called on a Monday with walking friends. Friendly atmosphere. Good pint of beer. Menu of ciders. Tasty food with huge portions. Quick and efficient service. Highly recommended!

Came across this lovely pub by chance ,stopped for a drink,JD and coke ,very lovely atmosphere with warm cosy fire ,The landlady who served me was friendly and welcoming ,shame couldn't stay long enough to sample the homemade pie on the menu ,but if ever out that way again will look forward to paying another visit .

We met up for a family meal three members of the family from Chichester Torquay and Worcestershire I have got to highly recommend this pub the atmosphere is fantastic the staff are brilliant and friendly and the food is excellent good home made food and reasonable price highly recommend if your in the area will definitely be meeting up there again well done to the Queen Victoria Speisekarte ansehen
