They have a range of options, but are quite similar to regular British pub grub. We weren’t blown away, but it’s a good option for vegans visiting Glastonbury.

We had been here three times in recent years and each time it was excellent. This time the three of us had the Falafel Platter, the Sunday (Mushroom based) Roast, and the Filo Pastry. All were delicious and freshly prepared. Pricing was in the range £11 to £13 each. We got in just before the rush at 13:00.

I’ve been eating here for most of my life and it’s always been consistently excellent. There’s always a good range of vegan soups, mains, salads and cakes. My favourites are their two flans; mushroom cashew nut and roasted red pepper sweet potato. A must if you happen to be in Glastonbury. *They do accept card payments (the listing says cash only). Our first impression of this place wasn’t the greatest as the lady serving ignored me initially. Then didn’t raise a smile when we started to order however as we started to ask about the food and ordered she appeared to warm up. I had the falafels, hummus, salad, olives and pita bread. It was quite pricey at £8.95 but a big portion. There were plenty of tables inside but it was just lovely outside so well worth sitting out there. There weren’t too many vegan options so I’d probably try somewhere else if we were back in Glastonbury.

The ordering process is simple - just wait in line at the counter, make your selection, pay, find a seat, and enjoy your meal. There is no sense of hierarchy here, as all customers are treated equally by the attentive staff. I personally enjoyed a vegan lentil samosa accompanied by a quinoa salad and a shredded carrot with chickpeas. This meal was a perfect choice for Veganuary.

I have always found this restaurant to be bustling whenever I've visited. They offer a decent variety of fresh and delicious vegan options. There are plenty of drink choices available, with the warm spiced apple being a standout. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. However, during my last visit, I did notice some cross-contamination between non-vegan and vegan foods being dished up, which was a bit off-putting. I highly recommend trying their cakes as they are delicious. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced. The outdoor seating area is lovely and aesthetically pleasing.
