It’s always a pleasure to dine at the Cliff. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is excellent. All the staff who assisted us were very friendly. My daughter absolutely loved her meal!

I always use this hotel when I travel to Scotland for work. The hotel is nice and clean and bright. The restaurant is just over the road and it looks superb. Plenty of parking and a safe with CCTV.

Hotel is good, staff friendly, easy location to access. Food in the restaurant is good but would prefer if at least the bar were open later and if the food service were quicker especially at breakfast. Speisekarte ansehen

Invited out for a meal, service slow desite it being more or less empty, did not bother with Sweet menu, wanted home tonight. Food was basic nothing to write home about. Will probably not keep this in my places to go, would probably avoid.

This is a fantastic local pub that offers quick service and delicious food. It’s very welcoming to dogs, and our pup enjoys visiting and even getting her own meal. The staff is consistently friendly, making each visit a delightful experience!

There’s always a great selection on the menu, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable, offering good value for money. I really appreciate that our dogs are welcome too and even have their own menu! All we have to say is 'chicken dinner,' and our oldest dog knows exactly where we’re headed. Speisekarte ansehen

Nice lodge ,comfortable bedroom,clean facilities and ambience,far from the noise and traffic..Good for the family as well ,however, if you prefer to have heavy luggage along be prepared to carry it along the staircase (No lift). Reception is inside the bar which seems a bit weird, although you can drop the key elsewhere on checking out..

On a positive note, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and I want to extend a huge thank you to the bar staff who reopened the bar to provide a bottle of water for my asthmatic husband, which we couldn't find at any garage. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this experience, but the lack of helpfulness at the start of our stay is the primary reason we won't be returning.

We ordered Sunday lunch upon our arrival, and it was quite disappointing. The turkey was pre-packaged and sliced, the peas and carrots seemed cold and possibly canned rather than fresh, and the gravy wasn’t great. The Yorkshire pudding had a pool of fat at the bottom. We also paid for breakfast and regretted it. The sausage was brown and hard, looking like it had been cooked the day before and just reheated. Both of us ordered eggs, but neither of us received one; we were told she didn't think we had asked for them. The beans also tasted like they had been reheated.
