Hotel is good, staff friendly, easy location to access. Food in the restaurant is good but would prefer if at least the bar were open later and if the food service were quicker especially at breakfast.

The food was delicious We have enjoyed our breakfast so much. It was very clean and neat, spacious place. The room we have stayed was nice as well. Sockets are everywhere, clean, comfortable bed. All was really good . We will come back!

Invited out for a meal, service slow desite it being more or less empty, did not bother with Sweet menu, wanted home tonight. Food was basic nothing to write home about. Will probably not keep this in my places to go, would probably avoid.

The table for 20 was booked at relatively short notice and staff on the phone couldn’t have been more helpful. On the day the team were very welcoming and attentive. The food was very tasty and served on time and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Fantastic service and people. So friendly and welcoming. Also cheered us on during our 10000 daily step challenge during February. Became the regular pit stop and Gayle always on hand to get us hydrated and fed. The whole team of management and staff are fantastic xxx

What a great night wee had last night great break away for the night with the kids the hotel room was beautiful and very clean the food was amazing to and the staff are very welcome wee had an inuse with the heating but they fixt it right away for us I would highly recommend and definitely be stay again

Nice lodge ,comfortable bedroom,clean facilities and ambience,far from the noise and traffic..Good for the family as well ,however, if you prefer to have heavy luggage along be prepared to carry it along the staircase (No lift). Reception is inside the bar which seems a bit weird, although you can drop the key elsewhere on checking out..

This was our first visit in a couple of months. Last minute session to pop in for some food rather than cooking on Friday. Fish’s and chips was really excellent. Lots of places serve fish which is not fresh but yours was fantastic and will be a regular fixture for us if it’s that’s good. Also want to call out your staff. We were offered a drink straight away and the staff were really attentive and looked after us really well. Don’t normally leave many reviews was was compelled to this time as we were so impressed. Took the grandkids to Ravenscliff before going to the pantomime yesterday. They offered the adult menu. ‘Do you have a kids menu?’ ‘’Oh, do you want the kids menu as well?’ Well considering I’m sitting here with 2 kids well f’kin aye. ‘I’ll bring them markers and crayons’. Had to go get it myself. Jess only wanted mac cheese? isn’t on the menu. There was also a list of other things on the menu that were not available.This is 5.30 pm FFS. ‘A FAMILY Restaurant? does not even serve macaroni and cheese ? I Don’t f’kin think so. Won’t be back.
