"We stopped on the way back from Slovenian holidays, as always after looking for a place where you can eat typical dishes on Google. Good choice! Cozy place, with about ten tables, very well laid out and with an excellent welcome service. The cuisine is truly worth it, simple dishes but with excellent and well-processed raw materials. We tasted the fear dish, the jota, and a wonderful ROSA DI GORIZIA with cracklings... exceptional!!! The gubana dessert is also definitely a must try! It's worth the stop. To return! In Friuli you eat really well!!"

Excellent and well recommended wines. Frico with amazing polenta. The meatballs served with the aperitif are excellent. Classic tavern where you feel at home. 45 minuti fa ero disperato. Poi ho trovato questo luogo e adesso sono felice. Non ho nessuna voglia di spendere tempo prezioso a spiegarvi quanto sono buone le cose che ho trovato qui; non ho nessuna voglia di spendere tempo prezioso a discettare della praticità di avere un locale la cui cucina e attiva tutto l'orario di apertura, non stop. Sono semplicemente molto contento di questo luogo. Veniteci.

"Too bad you didn't try it before! local full of history and objects, tractor of those series, of once. professional staff, all feminine, a little up and off-shift, as the uniforms worn; we are made to immediately sit at the table booked outside, in the side courtyard, well furnished and illuminated. delicious the idea of the decorated tile twisted to subtone. Let's start with a ribolla, panate anchovies with polenta and a salad with frico and frant. Let's start well: the fish served on a cap (genial) with a coherent panatura, beautiful crispy and dry fried, at all too salty filine for my goits; also the cheese was appreciated, absolutely delicious and fresh. follow gnocchi di susini with butter, cinnamon and breadcrumbs, palacinke with zucchini nostrane and montasio and basket of kifeletti. only that I can do: a little less butter; for the rest all delicious! we could not exonerate from the degotation of sweets, falling on a classic 'mills with lemon cream and black chocolate drops and an ostrich in the strange. be phenomenal, beautiful to see and good, very good to eat. in the 74 euros spent were included compliments, cuddles and painful gorges for our dog, treated as a third commensale. Well! I confirm all the positive reviews I read and I look forward to returning to try the other cards. I recommend booking and a little patience, both to complete the reading of the menu, rich and explanatory, and to get the dishes, not because the service is excessively slow, but rather because the presentations and preparations, elaborated as they are, require their time!"

"My friend and I found La Kantinetta by chance, the place immediately won us with its charming but relaxed atmosphere. The interior is very cozy, with stone walls and charming decorations. The menu changes daily based on what the chef found at the market that day. On our visit it was hard to choose because several options were tempting, we ended up choosing a burger with salad (don't expect an hamburger though, it's genuine meat and salad) and ravioli with burrata cheese. They also have a good wine selection. The price was definitely worth it, 24€ for 2 adults with wine (glass), and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Totally recommended."

"We ordered three gluten free pizzas, and they were all delicious. Great dough and prepared/cooked separately to avoid any risk of contamination. Desserts are also very good and there is a great selection. Unfortunately, they don't have a gluten free kitchen to prepare other type of dishes (i.e. pasta). Friendly staff and good service. I am glad I visited this place; I will definitely come back in the future."

"Approching Gorizia town and looking for a place for lunch we spotted Al Fogolar on the opposite side of the road. Turning the car around, Al Fogolar turned out to be a inviting restaurant on spacious grounds, presenting us with a choice of parking spaces. We settled down in the outdoor seating area. We had a delicious lunch, with carpaccio and pasta, very good and prompt service, in short a terrific sit-down, to be expected from a good Italian restaurant. Only the bill turned out to be a shade higher than comparable restaurants we visited in Italy over the years. But nonetheless a well-deserved 4 point rating."
