Food Hygiene rating of 2 (out of 5)! Quality really dropped in last year. I would encourage anyone interested to get a full copy of the Food Hygiene report from the council, it does not make good reading. If the standards have improved, the restaurant should get re-inspected, otherwise I won't be eating there again

Such wonderful Indian cuisine. Perfectly seasoned, not too greasy, full of flavour. The Red Rose is also great value for money. We really enjoyed our few most recent visits and take aways. The delivery took 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive on a Monday at 5 pm. I was informed that the delay was caused by a mistake on another order. Unfortunately, the food was cold and I did not end up eating it. I would not recommend this restaurant anymore due to the shocking service. I ordered a take away .. for delivery. Was told it would be an hour . Ok however after a hour and 20 minutes I called only to be told they had left to deliver and would be with me asap !!! Ohhh a total lie ! Rang again and told the same !!!! Lie lie lie !!! So I told them I no longer wanted the food and asked for a full refund .. the manager then put the phone down on me !!!!!!!!! I have seen a considerable decline in this restaurant over the past 5-10 years. I used to really enjoy this curry house when Mo was in charge, but since then, it has consistently gotten worse. We have attended every New Year's event for the past 7 years, but even that has changed for the worse. What has happened to the once best and most established curry house in the area? I am very disappointed. The service, delivery, dinner experience, and atmosphere have all deteriorated. The price per person is £40-50. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere would only receive a rating of 3, 2, and 2 respectively.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. I placed an order through the Just Eat app and tried to use a £10 voucher that Just Eat had given me. However, when the owner called me back, they said I couldn't use the voucher and demanded an extra £5 from the driver. I tried to explain that the voucher was provided by Just Eat and that they should contact them, but the owner continued to be rude and yell at me over the phone. I will not be ordering from this place again and I recommend that others avoid it as well. Delivery service was poor, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. The cost per person was around £20-30.
