"After some wandering around our district inParis. trying to choose from the huge variety of restaurants, we decided to try this one.The waiter was friendly and polite, and after exhausting our little bit of French, we had to revert to English and fortunately the waiter spoke better English then we do French. The menu was simple to understand and in both French and English so there could be no confusion over what we were ordering. A nice bottle of red wine was about €20 and the food was delicious and just what was needed - authenticity French without any complications. We both shared the foire gras starter, my partner then had a Normandy salad and I the moules. Plenty of them and the waiter imparted some of his knowledge in that mussels get eaten with mussels - you learn something new everyday. All in all a pleasant experience, fantastic staff, service and food and would recommend it.It is also worth noting that with the current poor pound to euro rate, this restaurant didn't cost a fortune having paid €20 earlier in the day for two beers in another part of town"
