On a special day, I asked the plate with the surprise, and it was nice to have it. Thank you very much for making reservations in Japanese, but I was surprised that the price was very high. The price and budget of the menu are good.

Afternoon tea at Salon Proust in the Ritz Paris was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very well. The staff were so professional and kind to us during the several hours we were there for the whole experience. 10/10 will be returning every single time I am in Paris. Absolutely everything about Tea was amazing- the service, the place settings, the décor and the food- especially because I had mentioned when making reservations that my sister had a Gluten Allergy. They went above and beyond to provide her with a special menu that made even me jealous. The amount of food for the value is amazing, definitely show up hungry because you will be treated to a feast.

Proust did not disappoint! Tall, ornately decorated wood cabinets installed along the long wall of the room form a stunning library. It acts as one of many focal points in the the room. A portrait of Proust hangs over the fireplace located at the end of the room. Some of Proust's notes hang in key locations around the room. Staff were attentive, friendly and courteous. Our service included tea with delicious treats in an atmosphere of warmth and great care.

I had high hopes for experiencing tea at the Ritz in Paris, I’ve enjoyed an excellent tea service at the Ritz in San Francisco, so Paris should be even better, right? Sad to say, not even close. First of all, there were no savory offerings every single item was sweet or semi sweet. A couple were quite tasty, but the majority were just bland and boring. I tried them all, but couldn’t finish them because, like I mentioned they were all sweet. The tea itself was good, very few to select from, but still good quality.
