Sat outside in the sunshine service was excellent inside was clean and staff welcoming

Fantastic quality great value and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be revisiting soon .

Service a medium steak took 75 minutes, was told on multiple occasions it would be out in 5… Food was decent but not worth the wait or extortionate prices! Very irritated and won’t return

My car got stuck in snow. I was freezing and hungry and in need of using a toilet desperately. The gentleman let me without questioning or asking any questions. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, we weren’t so found our own table. No cutlery on the table. We waited 15 minutes before we received a menu. The older male and female who worked there had an unsettling demeanour, although we waited so long to be served, they were unapologetic and we felt like we were annoying them. The male manager was wearing running shoes with jeans, not what we expected with the prices being what they are. The service was non existent, no one spoke to us or made us feel welcome. The manager(s) seemed much more interested in the customers who had hotel reservations. The portion were less than satisfying, the quality of meat was poor. The toilets were extremely clean.

Honestly I cannot describe how bad our visit was to this establisment... To start things of, it took them over 10 minutes to notice us before we eventually got taken to our table. Once browsing our menus, we were ready to order... this is when we get told a number of items on the menu are sold out. Alright fair enough this can happen, but what really tore me apart was the attitude of the server we had. Obviously we were asking questions to what was available after finding out we cannot order what we want, this is when we were hit with a very snarky eye roll followed by a cheeky comment which was extremely unprofessional. This place used to be great, we would come here often but it’s really gone downhill in the past couple years. I called about a last minute lunch reservation. A nice girl on the phone said they had tables available for lunch and we said great we’d be there shortly and all seemed fine. When we arrived a very rude woman asked us if we had a booking. I said no we didn’t and she said they don’t have any tables and that we need a booking. I told her I’d just called the restaurant and explained the call I’d had and how the woman on the phone said to come down for lunch and that they had space for us.
