"I am stunned that someone could have a bad experience here. Upon arrival, there is hand sanitizer to use, the staff is behind a plastic screen and you have to order your food at the counter, which minimises staff/customer interaction/contamination. Serving staffs wear masks and the waiter was happy to get us extra drinks so that we didn't have to go back up to the counter again. Despite what could be quite a sterile place at this moment in time, they have succeeded in making the cafe look and feel both sanitary and welcoming. There are plants on one shelf to sell and the back dining area is as light and airy as it is to sit out in the sunshine. The staff are friendly and helpful and we didn't have to wait long for our food. These factors however, are not the highlights of this cafe. The menu looks simple but the food is obviously prepared with passion and care. I had a mushroom and spinach burrito with wild garlic: such a simple combination, but deliciously done. I had food envy when my boyfriend's food came out (Buddha bowl), and even more so when I tasted it. We are hoping to move to the area and would like to make this cafe a weekly treat, so please support this business in these trying times."
