Lovely old pub, great location, good parking. Would go again, fair priced Sunday roast. Felt clean safe.

the personal made the family dinner very pleasant by making a fuss of the young children and an extra special dessert for the 4 year old. we're coming back.

Very welcoming, excellent food and service. Love the extra touches such as fresh cut flower arrangements and loving soap and hand cream in lovely clean toilets. Already booked our next meal. Thank you. A credit to chef and all staff.

Having eaten in the Rose and Crown twice this weekend after staying in the lovely cottage next door, I have to say the food was very tasty and exceptional value for money. I would definitely recommend to anybody that's looking for a delicious Sunday lunch with family and/or friends or a cosy evening meal. I'll definitely be returning! Speisekarte ansehen

tonight for lunch. I was best tasted. roast beef was also amazing. veg was boiled to perfection and all came to the table pistol hot. pudding was just as good. eton mess sundae. chocolate brownie sunflower and beautiful ice selection. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. all in all a great return visit. will be back soon. now have 1 star for each category, as necessary to get on this page. we had no experience eating in rose and crown histon, when we set up the place, closed everything in darkness, no explanation at the door and no correspondence received why location was closed. when the Burger bar is surveyed in its parking lot, it seems that they had a need to go away, but surely a text or something could have been sent. for us the smokehouse over the street led us in,not good customer service of rose and crown

A lot of work has gone into making the pub coronafrindly with plenty of sanitation points and a cotact tracing sysytem in place. I was sat near the main entrance and the door was open which caused a draft which was acceptable at first but caused my food to taste cold after a while. The food was correctly cooked but the roast beef was wafer thin. Service was friendly especially as I was the only customer in at midday on a Sunday. I appreciate the efforts made to meet coronavirus challenge but feel the quality of food disappointing. The beer I had was good. Speisekarte ansehen
