"We find this cafe the best value in a very nice position on the harbour. The staff are very good,, sometimes under extreme circumstances as some visitors to Bridlington are very rude and expect something for nothing. The food is good, the drinks are always well presented and timely. There is little room between cafe's on the harbour, but they make the most of the space they have, dispite people wanting to eat fish and chips from next door, then moaning when asked to leave. (Politly)If you want a decent drink and good, well cooked snacks and lunches, there is none better. The added bonus is that your goes that little further too. (Win-Win)"

My partner made a simple enquiry to be sharply responded too by the woman serving, So we opted to take our business elsewhere

Visited here with my 4 year old son for ice cream and the owner was very rude to us when we asked if they did sprinkles. Would never visit again.

Visited here recently. The male owner was very rude both to us and other customers. The lady behind the counter was nicer. However if you buy donuts you can’t even sit down to eat them you have to take them away.

Ordered inside and was told to 'just stand and wait ' in very rude manner, 10 mins later was told 'move you in way ' so I asked where the food was, which they had lost the order. Finally arrived, cold and tasteless

We’ve been here before whilst on holiday in the area and it was very nice then, and our recent visit last week was no different. I always love to come here whilst visiting Bridlington as it’s a lovely place with gorgeous views of the harbour and sea and everything is very reasonably priced. Ordered 5 coffees which were very nice and very well priced which was great. There are also great COVID-19 measures in place such as NHS Track And Trace before entering and face mask wearing whilst moving around the venue which makes customers feel safe. Very nice cafe and will definitely be back!

On our family holiday here in Bridlington and we wanted an evening meal. We saw this little place and went in.Without knowing it, it was close to closing time but they were still more than happy to take our order and COOK IT FRESH.The fish was very fresh and meaty and the chips were superb, some of if not the best fish and chips we have had in many a good year. The owners were very friendly as it's a family run business and were lovely to chat to.We will be revisiting this nice little place again later in the week and HIGHLY recommend this nice little place to others looking for a nice, value for money filling meal.

"Visited today with my wife and month old daughter whilst we are on holiday in the area. We didn’t have a booking but this wasn’t a problem, the staff were friendly throughout and accommodating about lack of booking. We asked for a children’s menu...(website says they have one) but we were advised it’s was the basket meals menu which they advertise as selling to guests sat outside, they did also mention they could make a smaller portion of something from the adult menu. The basket meals menu is mainly fried food and chips, the kind you might share with friends over drinks, I wouldn’t call it a children’s menu. To me a children’s meal should at least come with some option of veg/salad/beans and ideally not be fried, plus the chips that arrived with her chicken bites were salted, not great for little ones. We didn’t make a fuss as for one meal as a treat we weren’t unduly worried but it would put me off going back with children. They also charged the full basket meal price so no reduction for children. Our meals, fried garlic mushrooms, salt and pepper chicken goujons to start then a beef burger and chicken burger as mains, arrived promptly and were generous portions. The food was fine, nothing spectacular just average pub food. The main issue on our visit and the thing that made the whole meal much more stressful and unenjoyable was the flies, we were sat in what they called the restaurant area and our whole meal start to finish was disrupted by or flies continuously buzzing round us, trying to land on our food and land on us, not fun. I accept that or flies can be around when doors or windows are open and it’s hard to stop them coming when food is around but or round us and more to be seen in the room seems too many to me, it really put us off especially when they were landing on our daughter. At the point of eating the meal we didn’t raise the issue as we couldn’t see that anything could be done about it and I’m sure the staff are not a fan of the flies either. I did raise the issue whilst paying and was told they knew about the problem and were doing their best to solve it, sadly for us it would stop me wanting to go again. All in all not a great experience and the food whilst nice enough wasn’t good enough to overcome the issue of the flies and the lack of a proper children’s menu."
