We found this place by accident after leaving the Sagrada Familia. We bought a selection of salads and cold meats and then went across the road to the park and had a picnic whilst people watching. They even gave us cutlery to take away with us. Another delicious, cheap eat in Barcelona.

La comida de rey con pocas variaciones es hoy en día tan rara como la buena cocina elaborada por gente sonriente y apasionada por su trabajo. Soy siciliana y por tanto muy exigente en cuanto a gusto. Una perla para compartir con cualquiera que pase por aquí. Muchas gracias por hacernos sentir a gusto a pesar del idioma.

We came across this tiny store by accident. They are a family run business, and have an impressive assortment of meats. Most of the locals source their food from this store. They have limited seating (3-4 tables) but big hearts and lovely food. We had a 3 course meal for around 10 euros pp which also included a glass of wine! I had the paella, chicken roast and flavoured yoghurt which I found to be tasty and filling. The best part is its very close to the Sagrada Familia, and yet uncluttered (since it seemed only the localites and accidental tourists frequented the place).
