Great staff, food was great, good price warm and welcoming pub would visit again. Made us felt very comfortable

Needed somewhere to eat/ take a family member and the Oak ticked the boxes. Good pub grub, good sized portions and friendly staff.

I have visited this restaurant a few times recently for lunch. I have tried a few different items from the menu and have always had an excellent experience.

The meal was disappointing and we were overcharged. We did not receive a bill, only a card reader was handed to us. On a more positive note, the staff was friendly.

Booked to have Sunday lunch here with relatives visiting for the weekend from Manchester they completely messed up my booking and couldn't have cared less. We had to leave and find another pub

The worst meal I’ve been served anywhere. Totally inedible! The whole place was untidy and dirty. Should have walked straight back out again. Felt sorry for the staff having to work in those conditions

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, everything about it was good and so tasty. I had belly of pork it was so tender and had perfect crackling. My partner had the beef and he also really enjoyed everything . The vegetables were fresh including creamed leeks ,suede and carrot and brocoli. Will definitely visit again .

We decided to visit this restaurant on a whim. We were seated promptly and told our order would be taken shortly. Our meals arrived just 10 minutes after placing our order, and they were delicious. The staff were also very friendly. We would definitely recommend this place. We were staying at the Tortworth Hotel but found the prices there too high, so we opted to dine at a local pub instead.

We made a last minute booking for 5 people on a Saturday night. We'd never been before but wanted to take my elderly in-laws somewhere for dinner while they were staying in the area. The food was fantastic but what really stood out was just how caring and wonderful the staff here are. They went out of their way to accommodate my elderly father in law who has poor mobility. They were so friendly and good humoured about it that my mother in law was reduced to tears as we left!
