Sambuca Cramlington

It feels like being in a nightclub! The food and service were good, but the music was being played at ridiculously high levels, making it almost impossible to have a conversation.

We were promptly welcomed and served by staff who were knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly and professional. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, with great lunchtime special offers.

Pre booked as there was 14 of us table wasn't ready on arrival family came from Scotland they were hungry 45minutes later we got our table food was beautiful disappointed as there was a singer on so.we could hardly here each other speak Speisekarte ansehen

Picked up a takeaway on Sunday evening. Staff were really lovely, on the phone when we called in to collect. Food was really good! We ordered Tagliatelle Chicken Alfredo, tagliatelle Amatriciana, cheesy garlic bread, chips some garlic mayo. Portion sizes were decent too!

Very good fillet steaks but evening ruined by ‘background music’ which wasn’t background and certainly wasn’t music! Drum and bass thumping away, nothing even vaguely musical about it. Won’t go to this Sambuca branch again, which is a shame as it is walking distance from home.

The food was nice, and cheap. The staff were lovely. However, the place was very dark, i meeded my phone torch to read menu. It was very loud and the music was also quite loud so difficult to hold a conversation. Having to sing happyb birthday every 10 minutes was cringy and annoying. Fair enough if that's what you want for an evening out but its not for us thanks Speisekarte ansehen

Dinner at Sambuccas last night – service was a bit slow and we had to wait for over 20 minutes for our order to be taken (and then remind them we also wanted drinks) Potato skins were great and both our pizzas delicious – still don’t understand the carrot on the vegetarian pizza. No desserts or coffee – bill was £28 and when I paid with 2 x £20 notes, I was asked if I wanted any change …… yes please!!

The Sunday Carvery at this restaurant was fantastic - delicious and affordable. However, it was difficult navigating back to our seats in the dimly lit room with many steps, especially since we were seated at the back. The staff appeared disorganized and stressed, with some struggling with English fluency. This made for a confusing and stressful dining experience, particularly for our family member with autism.

Lovely place which is unusual for an urban area. Have to be honest, I was a bit dubious when the first server marched us to a searing area however once my husband asked if there was another seat, another server took us to an ideal area. The service from there on in was 1st class. The food was lovely and altogether a good experience. A bottle of wine, starters, main course and coffees and all very reasonably priced. Good experience.
