"I have had the chance to go there for dinner one night. My grandparents came spontaneously to visit me while I was in Austria so I decided to book a room there. On the phone she agreed on having a room available, I even sent her an email. I didn't get a confirmation however I didn't think of anything as I was sure it's reserved. I mean, I called just hours before and was told that I am all set. My grandparents then went to check-in where they were told they are sold out and being walked to another "Pension" just across the street. It didn't really bother them too much but made me look bad on the other side. The room they got there was in a private house which was more expensive then the previously booked room at Schlick where they would have had to compare a full service. We still agreed on going there for dinner. We were again serviced by the boss lady who was the most rude and unfriendly person I have met in my entire life. We asked for a dessert for the inconvenience where she just rudely answered: well, you haven't gotten an confirmation from me. Not that we couldn't afford dessert, but it was just embarrassing for me as well as I arranged the room before. Where then I was just shocked, we are in the middle of nowhere in a no-name hotel/restaurant, who the heck she think she is!! As I work nearby and did first send consumers along the way, I will never send anyone there again and will not recommend it! The food was okay and the gentleman from Slovakia (I believe) was very kind and nice and deserves to work at a better location than having this person as a boss. Around the lake there are more nicer properties with better quality of food and exceptional service, no need to specifically choose them instead."

one of the nicest settings in Austria , but maybe , just go for a drink. money on food is wasted. we had asparagus (4 pieces) that tasted like absolutely nothing. no hollandaise available.

We had a good meal for very reasonable prices. The meat was tender and all ingredients were fresh. Definitely a recommendation. I guess in summer the view over the lake is spectacular, but as we were there in winter, it was quite misty.

Nach einem Jahr kam ich hierher zurück und bestellte erneut ein tolles veganes Curry von der Speisekarte. Eigentlich mit Gemüse und Tofu. Wir hatten ein tolles Abendessen. Abends ist eine Reservierung für das Abendessen erforderlich, da wir am nächsten Tag nicht zum Mittagessen zurückgekommen sind. Zum Mittagessen riefen wir eine Stunde vorher an und bekamen einen freien Tisch. Ich liebe die wunderschönen Meere im Freien neben dem See wirklich!

Nach einem Jahr bin ich wieder an diesen Ort zurückgekehrt und habe erneut ein tolles veganes Curry aus der Speisekarte bestellt. Tatsächlich ist es mit Gemüse und Tofu. Wir hatten ein großartiges Abendessen. Für den Abend benötigt man eine Reservierung, da wir keine hatten, kamen wir am nächsten Tag zum Mittagessen zurück. Für das Mittagessen haben wir eine Stunde im Voraus angerufen und einen freien Tisch bekommen. Ich liebe wirklich die schönen Außensitzplätze am See!

The only positive aspect of this restaurant is a magnificient lake view. Especially during sunset.Food is very average. As a quick lunch or dinner it is ok, but we do not recommend this place if you want to really enjoy good food. But the worst experience was very poor service. Rude staff, who do not appreciate their guest, not helpful at all. Especially the middle-aged lady, who spoke to us only in German, pretended she can´t speak English, although she could and understood us very well.
