A really lovely cafe that serves food fit for a top restaurant. One of those places that's so much more than it looks from the outside.

Consistently awesome with the best brunch at decent prices with delicious coffee ... reccomend thier home made syrups too! So so good. Veggie and vegan options too. Wish there were more places like this

We needed lunch whilst in St. Leonards and had this lovely little eatery recommended to us. Super recommendation, super unusual food, super friendly service and not at all overpriced like some places today. Can't say better than all of that, can we.

Seakale is a fantastic venue for a lovely relaxing brunch or lunch. Food is fresh, local and with lovely unusual combinations. Service is informal and friendly. As a fellow local business owner that's exactly where I would go if I want a nice brunch or light lunch. Ps try their ice creams, they're fantastic!

Our fourth visit to Sea Kale and it was as fabulous as ever. We devoured the all day breakfast which really is staggeringly good with some of the most delicious black pudding, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans you'll ever taste. Even the homemade brown sauce and ketchup are divine! This place is an absolute gem friendly, welcoming and very reasonably priced, given the quality of the food.

Arranged to meet a friend for lunch and went to Sea Kale for the first time in ages. I had somehow forgotten how good it is. Staff are so lovely and helpful, there’s a good range of drinks but I was blown away by how good my lunch was. I had the cheese scone with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and flaked smoked haddock. A great experience that made my otherwise ordinary Thursday special. This time I will not forget how good it and will return soon.

I don’t write negative reviews and I don’t comment on average eateries. I just hope they get better. So I thought we’d visit St Leonard’s and booked Sieg Heil…(check spelling pls Ed)…. Sorry Sea Kale…..really very very good…! We had the Sea Bass risotto and it was fantastic….fresh fish caught the night before you can’t beat…and we could have chosen so many other meals we fancied… next time….the house wine was very good…so many customers seemed to be regular customers…thank you Matt and Emma…such a memorable lunch..!

This is an incomparable, little gem of a restaurant . Top quality, interesting and imaginative dishes all created by a very talented chef using locally sourced produce makes it difficult to decide what you would like! Memorable experience for someone who is coeliac too. Good sized portions and amazing choice excellent value for money. Don’t forget to try the Appasiomento wine a true find. Front of house service is relaxed, faultless and friendly making the overall experience excellent. We always pre book to avoid disappointment.
