"Locale molto carino e accogliente proprio nel centro di chiusi!Qui si trovano i piatti della tradizione toscana ma anche proposte che mixano prodotti del territorio e sapori particolari (vedi ravioli allo zenzero, guancia di maiale con spezie, cheesecake con agrumi).I prodotti sono davvero di qualità, le porzioni però non sono abbondantissime e i prezzi potrebbero risultare un po' troppo altini per un'osteria.Nel complesso, se si vuole provare qualcosa di diverso senza perdere di vista la tradizione toscana questo locale fa per voi.Nota di merito: la selezione dei vini e dei formaggi."

"We've come to the Trattoria Porsenna for 15 years or more. It's located a 15-second walk from the Chiusi train station and from the Hertz and Europcar car rental offices. It's mainly a place for railroad employees and officials. Very friendly and incredibly efficient waitstaff,...who remembered us after an at least 2-year absence. Rapid service, even when full, which is almost always. Practically no tourists as customers, though they are welcome. Local pasta specialties, as well as game dishes. We had bresaola/rughetta/parmigiano as starter, followed by pappardelle with wild boar sauce, followed by profiteroles, accompanied by a liter of bottled water. Hearty portions. Nineteen euros. We love this place."

"I have reviewed this wonderful place before, and it is still our favorite. Great location, just across the road from the access to A1 autostrada and a shopping mall; large parking area off the road and in front. I should mention that it is also a hotel, so it is perfect for travelers! Fascinating decor throughout of vintage items, including cars. The service is friendly, personal and attentive, with the proprietors, Cristina and Giorgio, greeting you. Excellent wines available. Menu delightfully varied, superbly prepared and presented. This visit, two of us had the bisteca fiorentino and two the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, following a great antipasto board. Desserts are simply magnificent. We usually come here weekly for lunch, but this visit was a birthday and was made extra special by the great staff. Highly recommend for both regular visits and special occasions!"

"Taverna Il Patriarca is an upscale, but not overly so, restaurant with a menu similar to other places in town, but with a higher price point. Our experience was limited to a late lunch stop, so we can’t comment too extensively, but the the two soups we had were flavorful, a minestrone and an anchovy and cauliflower. Neither were terribly hot. The anchovies took the cauliflower flavor out of the soup. We had an excellent salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. Topped it with a nice house red. While all was fine, we had better, hotter soup elsewhere in town for substantially less money. Same with wine. Ten euros for a half liter was bout twice what we paid in other places and the wines were as good or better. Atmosphere is good, service excellent but a bit harried at times. We talked ourselves out of returning, what with all the other options in town. Worth a visit, however."

"una bella scoperta mangiare qui! per coloro che stanno cercando di mangiare una bella Firenze non rimarrà affatto delusa. la qualità della carne che viene cotta alla perfezione, mantenendo morbidezza e aroma di brace che lo avvolge ad ogni morso. l'esperienza e la tradizione di pollaio fanno di esso un ristorante dove ogni dettaglio racconta la storia di generazioni di famiglie che vogliono ospitalità. in una posizione comoda appena fuori Montepulciano, dispone di un ampio parcheggio e dispone di un sacco di capacità all'interno di tavoli e anche seggioloni per bambini. all'esterno c'è l'agriturismo con capre, pecore e oche e un piccolo laghetto. alta attenzione ai regolamenti anti covid. hanno alternative di pasta senza glutine per celiaci. in basso e sott'acqua sono la cantina con grandi botti di vino e un museo privato di numerosi resti e pietre trovati nella zona risalente all'età Paleolitica. il proprietario che ci ha accolti è molto cordiale e gentile, soprattutto per la scelta dei vini, compreso il vino nobile di montepulciano e non solo, prodotto dalla loro cantina. oltre a raccomandarlo fortemente, sarà uno dei luoghi dove tornerò volentieri non appena ci sarà l'occasione!"
