Chef was creative with the meals and presentations , the wines were well picked and went along with each dish , the staff was very good and friendly. Atmosphere is intimate but relaxed. Great value for money!

Really so good, definitely top 5 meals we’ve experienced as a couple. Glad we chose this restaurant as one of our two dinners for our Amsterdam trip. Lovely to see the Asian twist in all of the courses as well, very well done and a nice reminder of home x

I had a wonderful evening, together with my wife and this really extraordinary meal, which was really delicious, perfectly coordinated with the combined wine selection. Our visit was the first time, but definitely not the last time. Thank you for this amazing evening

I LOVED the food here. I think I had 4 course meal and from the beginning to the end everything was so perfect. I was actually surprised that their food was fusion/creative influenced with Japanese food. Food scene is universal. Very impressive food and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend this place. Minimal yet luxurious decor. Witty artwork and open kitchen concept. The staff is super friendly and engaging. You can feel their passion for what they are about to serve. Each entree is served with black gloved hands. No detail is left untouched. The serving-ware is original and complements each meal perfectly. Every bite brought my taste buds on a journey. Enjoyed a Dutch sparkling wine and ended with a full bodied dark red Dutch vino. Thank you to Rianne and her amazing team. Lars you are a visionary. Bravo!!!

Senses is a food lover’s paradise. There is no traditional menu you basically tell them how many courses you want. After they subtract foods for which there is an allergy and what you don’t like, the chef prepares a highly original piece for each course. Each course involves multiple creative ingredients and is artistically presented. You can also order a wine pairing, which we would recommend as the pairings are perfect for the food. Each course is delicious in its own way. The wait staff is highly trained, attentive, and enthusiastic. They are also very knowledgeable about the preparation and ingredients for each course. This place was a real treat. To echo others, each dish from the presentation to the flavors was so unique and whimsical. Senses is not your average stuffy French inspired Michelin place; the chef really does enjoy playing with your senses (with some things being more out there than most ! Everything was a delight, although there were some occasional misses in flavors. I didn 't enjoy some of our amuse bouches, finding them a little strange especially the little sandwich cracker thing but I don 't mind that, because the actual courses were delicious. My absolute favorite: a little chocolate coated ice cream pop embedded in the chocolate dessert plate. Such great fun, as Mary Berry would say!... Speisekarte ansehen
