We stopped for a swift pint in the afternoon. It was quiet the service was quick friendly, we sat outside chatted. There is a shaded area or you can sit inside. It looks like it provides food you buy light bites like a sandwich. It seems a nice place I expect it gets quite busy with locals.

Went for Sunday lunch today. Starters were lovely, desserts were good but main course disappointing. We saw recent reviews about the beef being tough but thought we would try as assumed they would have improved after previous recent bad reviews. Unfortunately not! Large place, friendly staff but poor Sunday lunch which was reflected by the fact that the lovely dining area was empty. Such a shame. Roast potatoes: over crispy so could hardly cut into them, Beef: chewy (we were offered, but declined, some Turkey as a replacement) Stuffing ball: only half cooked, Cabbage: had a funny taste. Please take notice of your reviews. Such a waste when we had lovely starters and the staff were lovely.
