"King's Lynn doesn't have a lot of options for vegans, but luckily the manager at Spice of Gurkha knows how to cater to them. I dined there with a non-vegan friend and we were both pleased with how attentive our waiter and the manager were in ensuring our meals met our dietary needs. The food was excellent, with each curry made to the perfect level of spiciness and a delightful blend of whole spices used in every dish."

Fantastic service and very friendly. You really don't want to miss the opportunity to eat here, as the food is divine as well. Have been a few times and will keep going back!

Even though they don't specifically label themselves as vegan, the staff are happy to let you know which items are vegan. The curries are particularly delicious and highly recommended.

very friendly staff and a very good meal. I would have given 5 stars if the phone worked outside the opening hours and they had taken my booking. to the luck they had enough space for my party and the night was a good one.

A fantastic dining experience with food full of flavour and not overly loaded with chilli. I have used this establishment on many occasions now and have found great continuity in the standard of food served with a waitered service second to none. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The restaurant was small and quiet when we visited, but we enjoyed the food. The wobble barges and lamb samosas were perfect. I ordered the chicken biryani, which was good, but there was something missing - not sure if it was the heat or spice. There was no warning about the level of spiciness.

We went to the restaurant for the first time last night, it won't be our last visit. The staff gave us a warm welcome, the food was excellent and enjoyed by all of us (4). The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We were lucky to get at table as we hadn't booked and we could see why it was busy with lots of regulars there. Highly recommend it.

absolutely brilliant. we visited here for the Christmas meal of our work, with a table of 15 and eating was amazing! the waiters/waxes were very helpful and focused on all our needs, even took the time to learn our names and our experience made very personal. the food was delicious, although we ordered many dishes, everything came hot and fresh from the cake! great place.

Attended without booking, one lady and one busy man serving all the customers. Mix of Indian and Nepalese food on the menu, Draught beers and bottles. The mains were average, the rice was nice. The garlic and chilli nan had not a lot of garlic or chilli in it. Difficulty getting a vat receipt upon paying, different name on the receipt. Leads to issues with my accounts later.

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
