"Excellent breakfast buffet both cooked and continental with a view of the Thames. I especially liked the coconut Bircher muesli. Vegetarian options: I didn’t see anything explicitly labelled vegetarian or vegan (eg vegetarian sausages) but there were plenty of options (such as smoothies, fruit, nuts, muesli, cooked mushrooms/tomatoes/hash browns/eggs). We were asked about dietary requirements on arrival so it’s likely they would provide something appropriate if asked. "We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK . The mushroom sauce I had was so authentic just perfect. The sides of duck fat chips and cauliflower cheese are must try ! I never though that I'd love cauliflower but I'm already a fan after trying WG's special side of cauliflower cheese. Generous portions and such lovely staff ! They made us feel welcomed always with smile on their faces and very knowledgeable and chatty as well. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and it had real good vibe .The play list was such a nice addition to our experience , such good mix of all types of music. We were sat at the table close to the bar, and we've noticed that the whole place is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. This place is a true gem honestly , and I'm not surprised now that they have so many stars reviews ! We will definitely come back when visiting Windsor again ! My sincere compliments to the chefs as well ! We've learned that the owner of the restaurant is the Chef at the kitchen so what a delight , when so much attention to details is payed to food ! You created a food momento that we will not forget ."

"Popped in today at 6pm with my dad, now I used to go to this restaurant with my dad, friends and family all the time and the two male waiters /bar tenders were fab. Today I showed up without a booking and there was only...one couple at the table. I asked if they could fit us in bearing in mind it was just about to be 6pm and they said they had no availability bearing in mind the restaurant was empty, they said if I had a reservation which I said I didn’t. Anyway we left, going outside I said to my dad that it was weird they never have treated me that way before so we quickly went online to book a table. What a coincidence there was a table available at 6:15 and 6:30pm for two people. Extremely disappointed and won’t be going back the girls attitudes were abysmal, pitty the waiter guy was at another table I bet he would have sat us down at a table straight away and welcomed us with a friendly smile like he always did. Won’t be going back and very very poor attitude and service from the 3 girls at the entrance and bar. I guess they didn’t fancy working today."

"It was my sons birthday we thought we would all go as a family. The staff was extremely rude when my husband was asking if any dish came with a teamed vegetables the staff dis not advise or guide as to what to order when the next table behind us asked the same question and they were helped because they were English white? We experienced racism in the staff. I mentioned to the staff I had an operation and had a tumour removed and told the staff I am unable to have any ice in my drinks the staff said we can not make virgin pinacolada without ice where I thought that they needed to crush the ice in the machine, I also mentioned that other restaurants do give me the sake drink without ice even if its a little less I am happy with that. Anyway thr drink came out and had lots of icecubes in the drink, I still told the staff I can't have it with ice. The staff was even more rude. I also asked for green Thai curry and was bought out red Thai curry.. The treatment we got as a family was very disgusting from the staff especially one member.he kept saying No to everything when we asked what did we need to order as an additional. I have always been going to this restaurant for years with friends, bit not happy that me and my husband were treated like we were not wanted there."

"the local loves this place and from good ground. warm, welcoming service and excellent, high quality food. the tables for eating are naturally at a distance and the ambiente of the restaurant is really chilled and relaxed, just perfect. we ordered a mix of sushi selections. for this time remove . it was super fresh, the sashimi was “melting in her mouth” tender and the rice was tender and sticky and light. we enjoyed a green tee while we waited for the cute young to put it together. a totally authentic experience with fresh and tasty eating. Do not pass it!"
