Just what we required a satisfying, well presented light lunch with good choice of drinks prior to the lovely Shakespeare pay. Very good service from friendly staff.

This restaurant is extremely convenient for a theater visit. Though the menu is small, the food is excellent, and the service is attentive with remarkable attention to detail. I will definitely be returning!

We booked for 6.30pm as there were no spaces avsilable for 6.00pm. Service was not particularly slow, but we had to cancel dessert as we ran out of time. Need 1.5 hours before a performance to eat comfortably.

We booked here because we were going to the theatre upstairs. We booked for 6.15 and our guests arrived at 6.25 so we ordered one course through the speedy menu. The food eventually arrived at 7.05. Giving us basically 20 minutes to eat then go and find our seats. The place was cramped and overcrowded and we wouldn’t go again.

When the restaurant slowed down service, we noticed that other tables who arrived after us were being served before us, which was frustrating since we had a tight schedule for our next theater show. The burrata should be accompanied by more than just a few pieces of fig. We would have likely ordered more drinks if the service had been a bit more attentive. Additionally, the restaurant feels very cramped when it's full, with very little space between tables.

before the theater as they like it, table for 5.45 booked, show started at 7.30, sitting immediately and the waiting staff was nice, but seemed torn by their feet. tables are so close together, we couldn't talk, as two people stood behind my daughter and chat loud for 25 minutes. the food was delicious and well worth, but we had to wait so long to see the dessert menu that we will pay it up to the time to pay the bill and go to see the show, I would recommend the restaurant when they go to soho place theatre, just leave about 3 hours for their meal

Food was nice we had small plates. Main downside is the tables are too close together so it's tricky getting in and out of tables and there's nowhere to put your coat/bag really. Tables are small so if you share small plates the whole thing's a bit precarious someone getting out of the table next to us knocked things on our table over no big deal and not their fault but restaurant could do to remove a few tables and add a bit of space. It's a big, cavernous space so ambiance and acoustics are not great. I'd say fine for a pre theatre meal but not a destination restaurant. Very slow getting the bill we had to ask 3 different people.
