"Went there three times. First one was by accident. Staff was great, really friendly and helpful. First time there was kitchen already closed when we found this place, but waiter introduced us with drink menu and local beer they have. Beer, atmosphere was great and we left when there was 'Last round ' for drinks. Our second visit was by purpose at 31.12. for some wine with hope that we could celebrate the New Years Eve there. Unfortunately they finished their evening early, about 22:00 so we left (not wanting) after few drinks at the bar. We come again at 2nd of January for some awesome goodbye-Amsterdam diner. It ended up with fantastic food, service and wine, for reasonable price for three-course meal. Steak was the best we ever had (and my husband travels a lot). His colleague is visiting Amsterdam soon and we recommended Stoop&Stoop as MUST place to visit for great time, food and atmosphere. Thank you for one of the best experience of quality! Visited today and asked if anything on the menu could be veganised and the waiter and chef came up with 2 dishes that I could choose from. It was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Plus the staff were very welcoming and friendly :

The service here was PHENOMENAL! Our bartender went beyond and beyond to make sure we were visited. He even cut off our fish for us because we had trouble. Talk about customer service! The food was amazing! No drop was left behind! 5 stars on the board!

Ik kom hier bijna maandelijks met mijn beste vriendin en het personeel máákt het dat wij daar zo graag komen, inclusief de mensen van de keuken! Zitten altijd heerlijk buiten onder de warmte lamp en elke keer maken wij daar de leukste herinneringen en is de avond te kort! Xxx

A very nice and quiet place in a very busy area. I hat pepperstake with fries and a Dame Blanche afterwards, the food was nice and the two girls working were extremely friendly and attentive! I recommend this place if you‘re looking for something close to the busy spot that is still local and cozy :

Where do I start when we came to the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm Hello by a Dutch man and woman. They were both very friendly, accommodating and went out the way to give us an amazing night. We ordered the steaks and they wanted to die honestly. Quality was the next level throughout the meal. My favorite restaurant in Amsterdam undoubtedly. Very recommended! We will soon be back x ps if your nice they could be able to sort you an excellent Strop wafer liqueur.
