Very good service, food was well cooked and beautifully presented and the stem ginger brulee was so good.

This restaurant is beautiful, with a fantastic atmosphere and attentive staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would give the food a perfect score of 5 out of 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I went here today for lunch with a friend as I’d heard glowing reviews of their Sunday roast, and we were not disappointed! The staff were lovely and very attentive, and the quality of food was excellent. It seemed a shame I couldn’t finish it all as it was truly delicious, evidently a lot of time and care is put into the food preparation. This restaurant is a credit to Ripon and I will definitely be back x

It was my birthday. We were visiting Ripon and decided to eat out. We checked the menu before setting off due to my husbands food intolerances. It's something we do regularly. Unfortunately the menu had changed. No rump or sirloin steaks. They tried to help with Steak frites but it wasn't the best meal for him. I don't drink either. I was happy with water with my meal, my husband fine with a coke due to driving. My fish was lovely except for the rubbery leeks that I couldn't cut.Never mind. We'll have dessert may be a nice coffee but then we were presented with the bill! We didn't ask for it. Ever felt you didn't belong. I paid, we left. I wasn't prepared to make a scene.
