"I can 't give my opinion on the quality of the brunch nor of the service, because after almost three weeks of trying to make a reservation, I finally couldn 't make it. This was the process: 1. I called a couple of times but they told me to do it online. 2. Some days after, I passed in front of the hotel so I decided to go in and make the reservation face to face. They guided me to the restaurant and a lady there in the reception of the restaurant told me she was really sorry but she couldn 't book for me. I had to go upstairs to the hotel 's reception, and they would attend me there. 3. Went to the hotel 's reception and tried to book for two months in advance. After a while, the person called another guy, the boss, and they seemed to feel lost looking at the computer. I asked if there was any problem and they said No, no, don 't worry . I asked if we could be seated in the garden and finally they told me that the people in charge of reservations were only from 7am to 2pm, that if I wouldn 't mind calling tomorrow during that time so they could book for me. 4. Next day I called between 7am and 2pm. A girl told me she couldn 't book on a Saturday, brunches are only served on Sundays, and that I had to send a mail. She gave me the email. 5. I sent a mail indicating the date, hour and number of persons, for a Sunday. I received an almost instant reply saying Sorry, Sundays the restaurant is closed . 6. I called back again and spoke with the same girl and she told me that was an automatic reply, not to worry because when her colleagues would read my mail they would answer me properly. 7. I waited for two days and received no further answer. 8. Called back again to the same girl. She took my phone number and said that the brunches are really not served by Ramon Freixa. The Ramon Freixa restaurant closes on Sundays, and the Hotel serves the brunches, so that it was really a mistake having called to the restaurant.I was really angry by that moment, as you may imagine. 9. During that same morning, I received an email and a phone call finally apologizing for having annoyed me during two weeks, and that they could not seat 8 at a table, we had to be separated in 2 tables. 10. Logically, I have cancelled and have now booked at the Ritz, the Orfila and Intercontinental, and in less than half an hour received my confirmation. 11. That 's the service/organization/coordination of a supposedly 5Star Luxury Hotel from the Relais&Chateaux, and a 2Michelin Star restaurant, superb!"
