Taksim Cafe - Speisekarte

Recently visited this place. Good food, good service. Unfortunately they do not accept credit card payments there.

I am a 190kg man who loves food, and I must say, this restaurant made me feel like part of the family. The gozleme was absolutely amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I ate here with my family as a group of 14. The staff were happy to accommodate us. The food was delicious, and really not expensive especially for London. We ate untill full for only £10 each even taking some home with us. Speisekarte ansehen

I visited for breakfast on my way into London to catch a train home. A varied menu at very reasonable prices. I had a Turkish Breakfast #1 with egg, garlic sausage, feta cheese, salad and molasses jam with a small baguette. Excellent food and plenty of it. If i 'd been in london longer I 'd have worked my way through all the options. Good coffee too.

We went there last Saturday to eat Gozleme which was very tasty, the waitress was very helpful and service was quite fast. The only thing I didn 't like was that they don 't accept card payments which we were never told before we were seated. When we went to the till to pay I saw that it is written ' 'Cash Only ' ', then one of us needed go to find an ATM. I found that part bit annoying.

Popped in whilst we were in the area for brunch I had the chicken Shish wrap girlfriend had the poached egg and sausage The shish wrap was pretty awful…absolutely no taste whatsoever and that was including the chilli and garlic sauce…..really didn’t taste good and left over half The girlfriends poached eggs came hard boiled …again pretty tasteless but said the sucuk was decent Not a good experience at all and next time I’m passing by I’ll do exactly that Speisekarte ansehen

Whenever I come to Harringay Green Lanes and if I am hungry I always come here. This is my favorite cafe in the area and I think the best one too. The staff are very friendly, the food quality is good and the price is reasonable. I really like Lamb Glozme, it is delicious plus free salad on the side. I usually have a Ribena to drink or Turkish Tea. The price would be around £5.00. On a rare occasion I have tried the Turkish Breakfast which is superb plus you can Tea or Coffee complimentary. If you don't want to spend much money I suggest you try this place but only cash payment.

The lack of respect from the waiter was appalling. We waited 10 minutes to order, 5 minutes for a high chair, and 15 minutes for some of our breakfast to arrive. It took another 10 minutes for them to realize that our breakfast was missing, and they only noticed when we pointed it out and the waiter hurriedly brought it to our table. At that point, we decided we should not be treated this way as loyal customers. When we spoke to the manager before leaving, all he did was apologize and blame the lack of staff for the poor service, claiming it was a busy day. I travelled 2 hours to return to Taksim (now Rosey's restaurant) which was one of my favourite places to go to in my old neighbourhood. While the food was still good, the staff rather shortsightedly, decided to rip us off by £15. When questioned, they did not even apologise and only offered to return £5 to us, charging us £10 for biryani rice (plain rice) when the biryani meal including grilled meet (which we did not order) was £15. This would mean that the grilled meet was worth £5 while the rice was £10. I don't think so.
