"I want to preface this review by stating that nearly ALL of the food in the city of Taormina is absolutely horrible. We decided to come here after reading great reviews and seeing great photos of this restaurant. It was a very hot night so upon arrival we wanted to sit inside. However, the air conditioning system was broken/non-existent so it was very very hot. I ordered a glass of wine which I suspect was a bottle that had been opened the previous night since it was not fresh at all. The real issue we had was the food. We ordered two different types of pastas which were both practically inedible. The pasta I ordered was extremely fishy tasting and my wife's pasta was a little bit better but we simply couldn't eat it. We ended up eating a few bites and just leaving. This was a pretty unfortunate way to finish our trip but it seems to be the theme of the city if you don't know where the good restaurants are."

Fantastic food, huge wine listgreat atmosphere and brilliant staff. We went for our wedding anniversary and it was great -c can't fault it.

We tried the tasting menu and it was AMAZING! It’s better than the one in Principe Cerami at Four Seasons! And the price is very reasonable! The owner (I believe he is the owner) is very nice! Grazie mille!

This was an amazing dinner! We sat outside and maybe as it was film festival (Indiana Jones night) was very quiet. Fernando our server was wonderful and helpful with wine and food suggestions. Highly recommend! Speisekarte ansehen

The food here is excellent! This place really deserves to be rated as a five start restaurant! Every dish we tried was cooked well and was very fresh. What was poor is service and lack of AC inside the restaurant. I hope this place does well, because the kitchen does an amazing job. The dishes very truly perfect!

We were looking for a unique dining experience.. the pasta with sea urchin was at best difficult to eat.. the taste of the urchin was overwhelming. The steak meal was raw. The sweet potato fries were excellent. We liked the ambience, and hope they succeed however none of us actually ate our meals. The appetizer of roast beef was paired with sea urchin and avocado. Such a bizarre pairing. I think they might be able to survive as their intent and objectives are creative.
