"Took my wife out for her birthday. Wanted a special occasion and expected as such based on reviews. Turned out to be a poor choice. Maybe the pizza is good at night, but I will not return for a regular meal. Have been out to eat in Italy in 6 cities at more than a dozen places. This was the worst value for money of them all. Initial service was good , then tapered off to poor. We were met with a prosecco poured right away. Then the glasses were never removed. Food was middle of the road at best. But I rated a 2. For example, my risotto was filled with frozen squid and had one mussel and one clam on top for looks . Not the real thing, but priced as such. No priced more than the real thing. See the photo. Most positive comment: The ambient is attractive."

"This pub is located in the Arco Felice area of Pozzuoli. It's excellent with friendly staff. The quality of food is outstanding, exceeding bar and pub standards. There is a fresh beef counter showing a very enticing display of beef cuts which you can select for your dinner. But plenty of other well cooked and prepared dishes available. The selection of beers is second to none also. If you're staying in Pozzuoli or Arco Felice, you must try here."

"Ero in questo ristorante per festeggiare un matrimonio. posizione mozzafiato vista il bellissimo panorama che domina il lago di Lucca con lo sfondo del vesuvio e sulla destra la baia di napoli con l'isola di capri. ottimi piatti mangiati, da vari antipasti di mare e terra alla torta nuziale. eccellente i due gusti di primo e molto buono i due primi pesci a base. la camera interna con finestre per godere della vista. servizio attento, preparato e disponibile."

"Sono stato al Vecchio ulivo dopo un po’ di tempo per una cena con degli amici , e come al solito non sbagliano un colpo. Il direttore di sala (Giuseppe) ci ha seguiti in tutto e per tutto consigliandoci della carne sublime, abbinandoci anche il vino (Primitivo di manduria). Per non parlare poi del dolce, la millefoglie dello Chef Roberto con una sfoglia super friabile ed una crema pasticciera buonissima (fatta da loro). Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Ci ritorneremo senz’altro"
