The Bath Priory - Speisekarte

We had a delightful breakfast at The Pantry to celebrate two birthdays! The breakfast menu was exceptional and the food was superbly cooked and presented.

The only exception to the great Afternoon Tea, was fridge sandwiches. Pastries savoury and sweet, cakes and scones were all top notch. The service was attentive and responsive. If this feedback is acted upon, then, easily 5 star experience.

The most perfect Valentines tasting menu made this a very special occasion. The food was unusual, delicious and beautifully prepared. The restaurant team at the Bath Priory are efficient, charming and helpful. I cannot recommend the whole experience highly enough. Speisekarte ansehen

I treated my wife to the Winter Spa Day for Two as a birthday gift. We enjoyed a lovely and relaxing afternoon with a 2-course lunch, a 60-minute Bath Priory Signature Massage, and access to the spa for the rest of the day. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The massage was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea experience here. The food was lovely and the scones were warm which was a lovely bonus. Lots of choices of sandwiches,savories and sweet cakes,plus teas and coffees as we needed them. The service was polite and helpful without being over bearing. Would recommend this experience. Went for Mother’s Day afternoon tea was absolutely beautiful. Great variety of sandwich’s, savouries and pastries and all delicious! Fabulous selection of teas and coffees too. My Mum had a gluten free afternoon tea which was probably one of the best she’s had, she didn’t feel like she was missing out at all. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful, nothing was too much. We stayed at The Priory for 2 nights for some rest and relaxation, as well as to explore Bath. The hotel is conveniently located outside the clean air toll zone, yet still within walking distance of the city and its attractions. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very comfortable, and the spa was nice although a bit small. The restaurant served excellent food for both breakfast and dinner, with a extensive wine selection, however we found the prices to be a bit high. Overall, it was a very comfortable place to stay.

The food at the Bath Priory is nice, if rather expensive and the staff service is polite and efficient. My only criticism is the very small portion sizes of main course dishes, which is surprising given the cost of the 3 course set dinner menu, £98 for 3 courses plus 10% additional discretionary service charge. The room we stayed in was generously furnished and clean although the carpets were slightly marked and stained and the table was marked with water stains, so overall with an impression of being slightly tired. A great experience from start to finish. We opted for the 3 course a la carte menu which began at the table with 3 appetisers courtesy of the chef. They were sublime and very nicely presented. My pigeon starter was cooked perfectly although my wife’s tart was a bit runny! We both had venison as a main which was perfectly cooked-my only criticism would be that there was a lack of vegetables to complement the beautiful meat. I had a chocolate dessert (which was preceded by a palate cleanser which we both found a little too sweet-the thyme icecream alone would have been perfect) which was very nice.
