always nice for coffee n cake to visit.but the Thursday pizza night is fabulous .and the additional joy to be able to see preston marina night or day

Came with friends for the pub quiz on Thursday. The coffee shop is in a fantastic spot by the docks and nice views over the water. We arrived early and enjoyed a drink outside in the sunshine. We ordered pizzas which were delicious. Good choice of alcoholic drinks. The quiz was really fun. We will be back!

Visited this cafe with a friend for coffee. The staff were very friendly and the inside welcoming, but the flat white was a disaster. It was milky, and slightly coloured, the taste of coffee was absent. It was disgusting. If you like warm milk in a coffee cup this is the place for you. Will not re-visit or recommend. Disappointing breakfast I had pancakes ! What a waste of money I was offered under cooked raw back bacon with them rather than the crispy bacon that was advertised ! Not great! Take them off if you can’t deliver! Very expensive for what it was and the coffee was not hot. On a positive note though the tea was hot and my husbands breakfast roll was ok.

The Club sandwich was disappointing as the bacon was cold and the crispy chicken seemed like it was just taken out of the fridge, despite being a supposed hot meal option. Additionally, we were only able to get two cups of tea that were two thirds full from the pot of tea for two. Overall, the restaurant was overrated, overpriced, and left us feeling disappointed.

On the positive it was a nice day and we sat outside. The pot of tea was nice which is always a good thing. However, I was very disappointed with my lunch. I ordered a fried egg sandwich on a brown bun. When it came it was only one egg on a dry T cake, it was a bit sad and dry, the eg was rubbery and overcooked. This cost £4.50 so not very good value for money! Other peoples sandwiches looked nicer and had more filling. I wish that I'd complained. Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I went for a long bike ride and decided to stop at this restaurant for coffee and lunch. Unfortunately, after waiting for 40 minutes, our food never arrived despite my husband inquiring twice about it (we had only ordered two bacon sandwiches). People who came in after us received their food before us. We received a refund and left feeling disappointed, especially since we had heard good things about the cafe. The coffee was decent, but we are not sure if we would return or recommend it.

I brought my elderly mother for breakfast today.The cafe was 1/4 full and plenty of staff were around. I ordered immediately and the lattes came quickly and were nice and hot. Mums bacon barm looked nice but the bacon inside was hard and cold. my toastie was pityful.. it looked pale and the bread was limp not like the toasties ive had there before. The bacon was barely cooked and I would go as far as to say in some parts it was raw. the egg was cooked ok. I would have complained at the time but the only staff member in sight by then was busy making a fuss of a dog and I had to get mum to an appointment. It is a shame the standards seem to be slipping in this popular eating establishment.

This cafe seems to be stuck in the past when it comes to their food options. We used to visit years ago and the vegan 'option' is still just a jacket potato with a powdery microwave taste and beans. They also do not offer any vegan spread. However, this time there was a suitable cake available. I had hoped for something more appealing to match the effort put into the cafe's decor. It would be good if they could develop their menu. I was also disappointed to see tables full of dirty crockery that the staff seemed to overlook. It would make for a better dining experience if they cleared the crockery as food was brought out. It's a shame because the location is nice. We have now discovered that... Speisekarte ansehen
