"What a delightful experience! This charming tea room offers a wide variety of homemade dishes. I enjoyed what felt like an endless pot of Yorkshire tea along with a delicious obstkuchen and some Wensleydale cheese (I know, it's a local favorite!). My wife opted for a lovely latte and a tasty cheese. We finished our meal with some decadent ice cream, all served by friendly staff who certainly weren't to blame for the thunderstorms that caught us on our way back to the car!"

The welcome was not what I expected. I was told, "We're busy, you'll have to come back or wait over there." It felt really rude.

I only tried the scone, but it was delicious. The other meals served at nearby tables looked beautiful, with generous portions and lovely presentation. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, typical of Yorkshire hospitality. The only downside is that it was a bit small, and they had to turn people away. Overall, a great experience but not quite a five-star venue.
