Probably best known for their brunch, yet I really enjoy it for lunch and dinner too. My favourite dinner dish is the fish currey, and the peanuts fried chicken are also divine to share

I had a wonderful brunch experience! The restaurant has a charming and cozy atmosphere, with friendly service. They offer an excellent variety of food and drinks. The location is lovely too.

The food looks great but it was mediocre. Place was understaffed and long queues for service /seating. It wasn't great and cost a lot for what it was. Great little place next to Zara. The food was very fresh and tasty, especially liked the home-made beans! Strong and flavourful coffee, although a bit too cold for me. The only thing detracting from the experience is the space inside, or rather the lack of space. On a rainy day in London, it was a bit cold with open doors...

It's wonderfully situated at the Duke of York Square. They have lots of seating outside and a few tables inside. The staff are friendly, polite and always have a smile on their face. It's a very welcoming place. The food is incredible. Their coffee is beyond delicious along with their mouth watering cakes. Lovely place to sit at and enjoy your coffee. Can't fault it. The waitress was sweet, patient and helpful. The meal, well, I didn't expect it but it was delicious. I had crispy duck. Duck is not usually my thing. However, I fancied something different. I have no regrets. Tasted so good. The duck was crispy indeed, the sweet potatoes were yummy, the egg was runny and delicious, the spinach made me want to become Popeye. So, so good. Highly recommended. It's a shame they don't do buy one get one free. Even the non alcoholic Orchard Sunrise drink was tasty. Well done Black Penny.

The food, coffee, and service were all delicious. As someone with coeliac disease, I appreciated that the gluten-free options were clearly labeled, which made me feel more at ease. However, I found the portion size a bit small compared to the price of other dishes, and the duck in the duck hash was slightly dry. Other than that, the flavors were fantastic. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is that the restaurant was really cold inside due to the doors being left open while the waitstaff served the outdoor diners, which caused my food and coffee to cool down quickly.

Horrible food made terrible with even worse service. Food came relatively cold and with nearly zero seasoning. To make matters worse, one of the pita bread slices came half bitten off by a precious customer. The manager was very standoff-ish and didn’t care to address us waiting in the hot sun even after making eye contact several times over a long period. When we got inside, we had to take the menu’s off the counter as we waited forever for a waitress to come with the menu to no avail. Even as she saw us take it upon ourselves, she didn’t even care to apologize for neglecting us. Avoid at all costs. Speisekarte ansehen
