"This place has a lot of choice, even if you just get takeaway, as we did. You can get lots of different meats we just tried the chicken, which was pretty tasty. Sweet and sour tofu was crispy and delicious and the lemon chicken was very lemony! The mushroom stir fry was flavoursome. Would also recommend the bao buns, although the Korean one is spicy. Spring rolls were crispy and very moreish. We also tried the chocolate fudge cake (couldn 't resist) but this wasn 't as good as the mains. Packaging for the takeaway was more cardboard and other recyclable materials than a normal Chinese, which was good. Very filling. Still love this place! The munchbox is highly recommended. "I stopped at this small beautiful place for the end of my visit in york and it was an amazing place. we had not enough time to enjoy all the dishes so that we tried 5 of them - roasted califove, fried chicken, spicy beef tartar, loaded octopus and lambs boil. fried chicken- it could be the easiest dish of this 5 but was quite tender enough. spicy beefy wetar- my favorites from the 5. it's just so amazing with fresh bark and tasty sauce. the award-winning otopus- it is a drop-small comparison with the price, but the otopus was really tender. the lamb bell. it is tender and juicy. the only part I didn't like so much was that I could still taste the stinking part of the lamb. the service was great and the interieur was cozy and beautiful. I really like this place and come back when I go back to york!"

"the vegan breakfast is a good option for their vegan needs. it was more filling than I expected and had a tonne taste. I wish I had a second piece of bread to suck the delicious juices. inhalt: baked beans reminded me of bbq taste avocado perfect ripe chimichirri really tasteful tempeh sausage good texture and taste roasted kartoffels well cooked with crumble and oil tofu scramble cream/liquid y scramble I had ever and surprisingly well. roasted tomato on the winery really juicy and tasteful vegan"

"We are here several times and always provide both for the quality of food and for wine and service. During our visit we tried the Deli plates together with a small selection of small plates. All foods are of exceptional quality and the menu is versatile enough to try as much as you desire. They are pampered for the selection of drinks and we had the champagne wine flight, which is a selection of 3 different champagne and park wines, as well as a few additional glasses of recommended red and white wines from the extensive menu. The staff even brought a free glass of sparkling for my mother, who celebrated her birthday. Make sure you book. because it is busy and when the weather is good, the outdoor seats also offer the advantage of sunshine. The staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. If you like good food and wine, this is a must in York."

"The food was stunning. We went for the chefs selection which was the 5 courses. I loved every dish!!! I was also left feeling full with the generous loaf of beautiful bread that is given at the start of the meal, to accompany the courses. There was also canapes before the meal while we had a drink in their bar area. The service was also outstanding, everyone very knowledgeable about the wines and courses. It was a very pleasant and tasty experience. My only slight negative would be that it just is a little too stark. There isn't really any atmosphere. It's just too bright inside. I was hoping once it got a little darker outside that they would lower the lights for a more intimate dining experience but it didn't happen. It leaves me feeling very aware of the other diners. It is hard to relax into a meal when you're so aware of the room and the people. If they can turn the lights down then it would be a perfect dining experience.... if you have the cash! A variety of foods, from potato, scallops (2, which was generous! , fish, pork, and there was a lovely generous eccles cakes, flat breads, apple etc to go with the cheese. You get to choose the cheese as they bring a trolley to you so that was also great. Lovely wines for each course which matched the food so well too."
