Had drinks and food in the briar, both where good, staff helpful Nice place too meet with friends Great value for money, in the city centre

We visited this Wetherspoons a few times during our visit to the Christmas market. Nice food and good beer. Service good. Excellent surroundings.

People are quick to leave negative reviews but I just wanted to praise the young man who served us! He absolutely put a smile on everyone's face. His fab red hair and personality, he absolutely rocks!! Thank you!

Cool, damp, winter day; I decided that I needed a hot lunch and being in Brum city centre remembered The Briar Rose. Tuesday is 'steak day ' with small reductions in usual menu price. I have found Wetherspoons usually OK across its menu but it can be 'Luck of the draw. ' I ordered a mixed grill and I was lucky excellent pieces of meat, cooked well. Never ordering a breakfast again The bacon looked anemic, beans were cold , so was the toast . We sent it back two other customers did the same the beans were still like warm , the bacon tasted of smoke it was so frazzled it was charcoaled to death. I felt ill not long after eating the warm bits . Two tables complained as well as us. Very disappointed. It was the Wetherspoons off New Street .

Extremely poor experience this morning come for breakfast and a drink due to having our newborn in BCH ICU. Ordered a large breakfast and a breakfast wrap they came out in good time however the bacon was cold and looked raw no grill lines. We hadn 't yet received our mug for our hot drink still hadn 't received it by the time we had finished the breakfasts (no check on our food was done at all) my wife went to the bar to ask and staff were very confrontational even after she had showed them her e-receipt and order confirmation. Very poor for wetherspoons lack of training obvious. A young boy delivering food also said I 'm getting p*ssed off with this as someone had put the table next door in...

Honestly this Wetherspoons it’s an awful branch! We ordered two meals on the Wetherspoons app for them to come out 5 minutes after. 10 minutes later we asked where our drinks was as they had still not arrived. Another ask to the waitress her response was “I don’t know let me check” never come back to us to update. At this point I had enough we finished our food and still no drinks. I had to go over to the bar to find they were just sat there, whilst waitresses are more bothered about collecting plates and obviously ignoring drink orders. We requested for a manager to speak to us she was not very helpful all she advised was, that she was busy. We understand that it was busy but it’s still not... Speisekarte ansehen
