The Champion Pub Notting Hill Gate

As always this pub is great, booked for dinner and food and service was on point same as the previous times I have been here. It’s the best fish and chips in the area. Thanks champion team

Brilliant, cosy downstairs dining space, well-run, terrific service, great menu/food and so flexible within our ever changing numbers. We all had a wonderful evening and big, special thank you to Bradley who is a shining example of how to do hospitality.

cheap as chips. I've been holding some drinks here before a friend-stag weekend. the hotel is just a few minutes from oxford circus station. the champion is a beautiful small traditional pub with old glass windows and great atmosphere. prices are very good for Centrallondon Speisekarte ansehen

WOW what a pub, it’s very rarely that I rate beverage establishments this high but this is an exception. The service, atmosphere and all round vibes are second to none. If you sitting on your sofa and looking for somewhere to have an epic time, get on the tube and make your way to Notting Hill Gate right now!

We had a fantastic night out at this restaurant. The manager, Bav, welcomed us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. I have been going to this pub for 2 years coming with every friend and family that have come to visit us to London. At the beginning was amazing and the staff very friendly , however in the last 6-8 months everyone has changed, new staff horrible and we have been having really awful experiences and the last one was this Sunday . the champion will reward the Pint-Supper for venting just a little beyond the usual ring of central iondoner pubs. this attractive device gives the impression of great time and offers a large number of attractive details from the old photos on the wall to the brass fortifications on the bar. the beer is decent enough and cheap, and there are many sitting opportunities, many of which are arranged in stands that are good for groups.

Our goal was to sit outside at a pub for some good food and drinks on our last night in London, and at 6:30pm on a Thursday, we got lucky at The Champion. We thought we'd have to sit inside until we realized that there was a small garden patio tucked away at the back, accessible by walking to the back of the restaurant and down the stairs. We easily ordered our food (and paid) from the QR code on the table and delicious food and drinks arrived quickly. A great way to finish a week-long trip!

My husband and I had an amazing dining experience at The Champion of Notting Hill! We both enjoyed the fish and chips, and I also had the fried chicken appetizer which was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was excellent, the wait staff was attentive, and the drinks were great. They even made me a perfect Cosmopolitan cocktail, which wasn't on the regular menu. To top it off, our server Amelia provided us with a list of places to visit in Edinburgh when we mentioned that we were going there for a few days.
