The Courtyard Cafe - Speisekarte

Beautiful cafe next to cathedral, we had lunch which was excellent, good choice including children's menu. comfortable clean environment with helpful friendly staff. Only perceived setback....... too dog friendly, like dogs but not near food .

This restaurant is one of my top choices. While other places can be inconsistent, the courtyard cafe always impresses. The Havana Toast is heavenly, and the service is always friendly. The only downside is that it can be hard to get a table during peak hours!

I had a slightly disappointing experience during breakfast at this restaurant. The service was good, friendly, and quick, but the plates were barely warm. My bacon was undercooked and the rest of my Full English breakfast was oily. At this price point, one would not expect such basic errors. However, the granola and toast were good. Located in a charming alley close to the Roman Baths and just a short walk from the Abbey, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, with lovely decor and friendly staff. The brunch selection is impressive and the coffee is excellent. While the prices are a bit high, the experience is worth it and I would definitely return if I find myself in Bath again.

Stumbled across this place whilst walking past and decided to stop off for tea and cake. The first two members of staff we encountered didn’t look very happy and were a bit off, however the next two were smiley and friendly, which more than made up for the initial welcoming! The pot of tea was really large so gave quite a few cups of tea, great value! The cakes however…. OMG…. Mouth watering! Totally fantastic! I had the raspberry and coffee blondie and my boyfriend had the raspberry and apple cake! Both her delicious! I’d happily have eaten both again!

Called in for a morning drink and snack. I had the Porker Sandwich and my partner decided to have the cream tea for one (two warm scones with cream and jam although could have done without the icing sugar dusting on the top). Both were nice and tasty and my pot of tea was hot and good. Partner said coffee was also good. Venue was a great court yard cafe in a side street and facilities in side, although small, were good. Staff friendly and helpful. Happy to pay the 12.5% service charge which is automatically added to the bill. A nice place to visit if in the centre of Bath. Speisekarte ansehen

My son his partner have just moved to Bath recommended this place when we were visiting them. Loved it straight away as it’s so pretty. The service was ok but to be honest my food was just average , the pancakes my son his partner had looked lovely. We asked for the bill and I paid it even though it was more than I was expecting. I wish I had queried it at the time as when I looked up the menu online when I got home ,what should have cost me under £55 cost me £84. I didn’t realise about the service charge being added on (I would have asked for this to be taken off) but surely that wouldn’t have been an extra £30 ?? Obviously someone made a mistake , I just wish I’d checked the bill properly.

We were a large group for a hen do so it was nice they accommodated us (tried to book in advance but not able to unfortunately) however, the food order was wrong and one of the breakfasts is not as described on the menu. Be aware that if you order the 'bubble and squeak stack ', it says with Glamorgan sausage, but there is no sausage in it at all! A few of us ordered this so when it arrived with no sausage we asked a staff member (we think she was the manager). She was very abrupt and said that it 's a vegan sausage option, which didn 't make sense to us as the rest of the meal was bacon, egg and cheese... definitely NOT vegan! I had also asked for no mushrooms and it arrived full of them! W...

We thought in the first instance the place seemed lovely, we sat outside, we were extremely disappointed to experience very rude and appalling customer service when it came to paying...we were not aware that they put a service charge onto the bill...we were still talking and not ready to leave when the waitress was hovering over our table and took my husbands card that was on top of the receipt without permission and proceeded to tap the card device when I looked over to see in disbelief she had tapped the machine...I also noticed the extra amount on there I challenged her asking what this was and she said it was a service charge shown on the receipt.
