"we came and were greeted by the managerin and shown on our table. |drinks were served at the table and we ordered meals. the mushroom cake was excellently served with creamy kartoffels or beautiful large chips and a small crug delicious gravy. the cake was really very good and eat very delicious. two main dishes and three drinks for only £22, where otherwise they would be great service, excellent food quality at this price - nowhere else. thanks for a great lunch."

Enjoyed a family meal for a special birthday. Asked for specific seating due to our son with autism, which they kindly provided. Service became a little slow, but otherwise, faultless.

Pre booked for a group of 4 and that went wrong, then items were taken off the menu once we ordered, it took an hour to get our meal, while a couple behind ordered ate and left in the same period. Not good.

Hadn't visited for a few years and was pleasantly surprised by how improved things are. Waiting staff all smiley and attentive, you can order drinks as well as food at the table without the need to go up to the bar (which is a pet...hate), food lovely and piping hot, prices reasonable. Wil definitely go back.

I came to an early dinner with a friend to celebrate her birthday. the service was friendly, fast and we felt that nothing was too much annoyed. we were served by brogan and kieran who left out of the way to make my dinner guest. thanks! we ordered the 7oz steak from the special menu and it became perfection, compliments cooked to the cook. all in all a wonderful meal was enjoyed by both of us. I recommend eating cricketers arms.

I came for dinner today and was so impressed by the food, I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and thoroughly enjoyed. I must say the absolute highlight of my visit was our waiter, Mikey, who was the most friendly, funny, patient and gracious...waiter I have genuinely ever experienced. He is an absolute asset to your team and I do hope this review reached him as he absolutely gave 5* service and would be reason enough himself to return. Thanks Mikey!
