Very good. The pub has a gluten free menu with quite a few options. They assured me there was no risk of cross contamination either and I felt well after the meal. Very happy with the service as well.

Lovely place where you can eat, have drinks and enjoy some great time with friends. They also have a large choice of beers, and different alcoholic beverages. It is also well located, in a place you'd come back for sure.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We turned up without a reservation but were seated with no problem. The food was delicious, especially the lamb shank and the price was very reasonable. The only downside is we are only in the area for 1 night. Highly recommended. Speisekarte ansehen

We were extremely disappointed to find out, after deciding on our meal choices, that there was no steak, chicken, or gammon available. We would have appreciated being informed of this when we received the menus. The service was slow, with a long wait for our food and drinks. However, when the meal finally arrived, we found it to be delicious.

This restaurant has declined in quality. It is very popular, with a lovely sunny garden and plenty of tables. However, the food was not up to standard. The gammon steaks were cheap but overly fatty, more like pork belly. The chips were also overcooked. The staff were friendly, but the poor quality of food and drink was disappointing. I even received ale in a dirty glass, which was quite unappetizing.

Great parking, easy access points. Well designed layout of bar, appropriate decoration and comfy feel to the different zones. Only stopped off for a drink for a reunion with friends, drinks were OK a d reasonably priced. My reason for the 4 stars is because when I visited the toilets the lights would not turn on/weren't turned on, this was at 5 o'clock on an autumnal evening, making things a little tricky! We went during the Easter holidays in April. They didn't have a lot of the menu. The food didn't look particularly great and the kids burgers were really tiny. It was more of a snack than dinner. They offer a kids meal deal at £6.50 but still charge for each starter/main/dessert separately. So no deal. I shouldn't need to ask for the sake of 50p? There are better pubs/restaurants to go to with nicer food and better values. I won't be go in back for food. The staff were friendly and nice enough.

I have been to this restaurant several times and I can confidently say that the issues I experienced are not isolated incidents. It seems that there is a problem with stock levels, as a large portion of the menu is consistently unavailable or sold out. Despite the positive aspects mentioned in other reviews, such as a great outdoor space and being dog friendly, these are overshadowed by the menu problems. Additionally, it often takes too long to be served a drink, even when ordering through the app and the pub is not busy (20+ minutes for a coke). Because of these issues, I can only give this restaurant 2 stars.

Appalling!!! Arrived for table booking, shown to table, drinks brought to us. We then waited 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order! Food was served, all good. At no point did anyone come and ask if everything was OK with the meal. Had to call for a staff member to order another drink as we were not approached at any time. Following the meal we advised a staff member we were popping outside for a cigarette but would be back, were told this was fine and left jackets at our table. When we returned the customers sat at the next table told us staff had taken our jackets. We then had to go on a hunt to find someone to ask to return said jackets. We then ordered another drink.
