Great little pub with fabulous food and selection of drinks, our favourite new place to go and take friends and family, highly recommend

astonishing family dinner on Sunday. obesity indated and hearty portions. the service was attentive and welcoming. will definitely return again.

Amazing. I went for the whole grilled lobster and the Mrs went for the prawn linguini. Exceeded our expectations! Lovely atmosphere and staff are so friendly and helpful. Will be back

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Desserts were very good. Service was excellent relaxed and good humoured. Parking was a bit of a problem because of popularity but we managed to park on the road.

Had a great roast dinner here. Unfortunately had run out of a couple of roasts but that was understandable as it was late in the day. Food and service was good. We will be coming back and also planning to visiting some of they're other pubs.

large historical pub on the north downs away with really good eating. they come from most foods before location and have a good variety on the menu. the scallops star was really good and the filet steak was excellent. they also have a pizza oven and the sourdough pizzaanine went out looked very good. very friendly staff. they also have external. we're coming back!

you did our day! friendly employees found us a table, although it was busy and we had no booking. the service was fast and all the employees we talked with were absolutely beautiful. eating was really good, some of the best pub dishes we had. they can say they also take care of the youngest guests: the children's menu is seriously good eating and beautifully presented, which is rare (the photos show what our small child had, yummy! . big desert and also very good coffee at the end. first, it was amazing to eat. the place is beautiful. the staff was very friendly. reasonable price. Eat quickly comes to the table for all these 5 stars. only a few things I took up. the vegan/vegetarian menu is confusing it is hard to say what is vegan and what is vegetarian (I should have asked, but I don't have it). one of our party had an article that was missing from her teller, not the end of the world. the personal was a little slow coming to the table and I had to ask for drinks instead of being offered. would be 100% back. in the next week try one of their other restaurants.

It was a last minute decision to visit this pub, although we had been there before, but sometime ago. We was welcomed warmly, shown to a table and given the menu. There was an excellent choice of dishes, from the light to the sumptuous steak meals. My wife and myself both opted for the Duck Margret with potato gratin, with asparagus and a blackberry and black currant jus. Which was a chef's special OMG, This was, and my wife agreed, was absolutely one of the best plates of food we had ever eaten!! Yes, it was that good!!, Dessert was New York cheesecake for me apple and rhubarb crumble with rhubarb clotted cream ice cream, for my wife. Good selection of coffee to finish. Great old pub lovely...
