Fish House - Speisekarte

by advice of nearby shopkeeper i stopped in and it was a wonderful crisp cod, good oil, not too oily, chips were fresh and crisp enough, cod was thick and flavorful.

Not many comments other than just this place offers top notch fish and chips quality and the kindest service around. No way I'm ever going anywhere else when I'm in Notting Hill!

There was some delay in order-taking. Truth is, this year (I've been going there for the last 5 years), I found it in a somewhat lesser degree of quality. I don't think I'll be going again. Speisekarte ansehen

We were there advised and it was a real succes. This fish was tasty and Metush with the rest of the team did their job very well. Quality, quantity, attention and price sooo good. Thank you so much.

We sought this little restaurant as it was mentioned in Rick Steves travel guide for London. It was excellent! Large portion of fish (no skin thank goodness , chips and mashed peas. Wine selection was a little bleak, but plenty of water: Attentive staff and quick service.

I truly don't get the rave reviews--maybe it was just April. We had reservations and we waited forever to get our order taken. I would guess it took 40 plus minutes to get fish and chips! They weren't that great anyways. The fish was just OK and the fries were lukewarm and greasy. Wont be back. Speisekarte ansehen

We found this true gem whilst looking for a really good fish and chips restaurant , based on the good reviews we followed our hearts , and we were truly impressed . We took Salt Pepper Calamari as a starter , and 2 Large Haddock Chips which is a huge serving with chips the taste was truly divine !! . We took the tube to this place which is very close by and within a short walking distance. Booking is highly recommended . I very highly recommend this place , will definitely see us again on our next trip next year . Am El

Been going to this fish shop for a few years. Used to go 3 times a month but hadn’t been for a while so thought we would treat ourselves. When we went in we realised it was new owners as we were usually greeted at the door but nope we were ignored, so we just went upstairs to sit down, there were 2 women working up there who just had their backs to us and it took me to say “excuse me can we order” the look I got when she come over was rude. When food came it wasn’t up to the standard we used to have in there. I said to my husband I didn’t enjoy that meal for what we paid and found them very ignorant, I definitely won’t return, which is a shame as used to enjoy eating in there.

Probably the poorest take away we have been to in a very long time. The guys behind the counter looked so fed up and could hardly mutter a response. Was tempted by the idea of good old bag of chips while we wandered Notting Hill; so Ordered what was advertised as a Jumbo Saveloy and large chips which was £7.60. Firstly the saveloy was no more jumbo than any other, at £3.50 a complete joke and barely warm. Then the large chips at £4.10 smaller than the small at most F&C 's. The chips certainly weren 't fresh, tasting like they had already been re heated then been left to sit. I would guess if they weren 't were they were located they probably wouldn 't get the business they do. Speisekarte ansehen
