This is one of the best restaurants in London. We have been going regularly since it opened and we have always had a fantastic meal. The food is amazing, the staff wonderful and the wine list excellent. You’re always made to very welcome and you’re never rushed. A must visit.

Beautiful meal. Stunning flavours. Impecable service. Nice calm atmosphere. Definitely not cheap, but absolutely worth splashing out for this place for a special occasion. They only do taster menus, so it’s a lovely luxurious experience lasting a couple couple of hours, depending on your eating speed. Very memorable.

This place was absolutely fabulous. We did the tasting menu, including the related wines. The service was impeccable, the wine steward was extremely knowledgeable and informative, the food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was elegant without being stuffy or pretentious. Our night out was certainly not inexpensive but it was absolutely worth it. We both particularly appreciated the wine pairings because the selection included some wines/regions that were new to us. Located on an unassuming street, this elegant restaurant offers a delicious tasting menu. We loved our meal here eight years ago and the return was not disappointing. We particularly enjoyed the asparagus dish, the scallop and cured beetroot, and the lobster tail. My wife doesn’t care for lamb, but I found the lamb saddle with potato and wild garlic dumpling scrumptious. And we savored all of the dessert treats. The service was classy. Unfortunately, because of our server’s accent, we were not always sure of all the tasty ingredients we were enjoying. My wife got very sick after eating here and felt the restaurant ducked the issue totally despite several contacts. We weren’t looking for a free meal but having spent high hundreds of pounds for two they could have sent a bunch of flowers. We went for her birthday and pre-vomiting the evening was very civilized. The restaurant is very much a hushed, foodie environment with a small number of covers and attentive but not intrusive service. Aside from bad oysters or whatever it was, the food was very good, albeit rich, so you need a reasonable constitution. This was our first visit to Five Fields. We have had many tasting menus, but were very impressed about the light and delicate nature of our lunch. The presentation was beautiful however the it was the taste of the dishes that blew us away. Most dishes came in two components (two separate dishes). Although this is not unique, many of the dishes at Five Fields arrived in this manner. Because of this there were more 'tastes ' to discover which made the whole food journey all the more interesting. The staff were all very lovely; friendly and professional and they had a real real pride in the food and wine they were serving.
