One of my favourite Wetherspoons, located in Highgate village this pub has a bit of a country feel to it with fireplaces and the warm cosy layout.

great experience. had a nice lunch. beautiful, hairy young man was our server and he was charming. I used to visit this pub in the 1960s when I lived in the opposite. the first time back and was not disappointed.

The staff was very pleasant, the food was very good for the price, and the atmosphere was great. The customers were also pleasant. Although they were short-staffed this time, possibly due to the holiday, it is still a good place.

I visited The Gatehouse for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was wonderful with a historic setting. The menu was interesting and our waitress was charming and patiently accommodated all of our special requests. She also made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything.
