The Gin - Speisekarte

Had a great time from start to finish. Knowledgeable staff nice atmosphere and great selection of Gin, Will definitely return soon.

eating was nice, would not say that it is the best personal is a little rude. you just said what you want! had a table booked and was not menus we had to find them.

Me and my wife were staying at the crowne plaza and didn't want to go far to eat so decided to book up for the Gin Bar and we weren't disappointed the food was amazing and would definitely recommend to others. Speisekarte ansehen

Interesting to see an independent bar within a large hotel chain but a lovely atmosphere none the less. Lovely gin based cocktails and a large selection of gin and tonics to try. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to help with recommendations and perfect serves!

This is a fantastic, laid-back modern bar that I’ve visited several times; it really doesn’t feel like you’re in a hotel. They have an excellent selection of gins, and the bartenders are great at making recommendations. I don't understand the negative reviews—perhaps those people had one too many drinks!

The Gin bar had no record of our reservation and seemed surprised when we arrived. We managed to get a table, but it was purely by chance, not due to any planning on their part. Our efforts to find a good bar and make a booking turned out to be completely pointless. They really need to improve their system, as it has clearly failed. Speisekarte ansehen

It was a gin bar that also served casual dining, creating a pleasant atmosphere for what it offered. The service was excellent, and the staff had a great knowledge of gin and were attentive to our needs. The Caesar salad was beautifully presented and had a modern twist, making it very tasty, while the sweet potato fries were enjoyable as well. The omnivore plate felt more like an upscale cheese platter, but overall it lived up to its description.

The gin bar is a lovely spot for a get-together. I had made a reservation for myself and my daughter to enjoy a meal and some drinks before heading to see Westlife, thinking it would be the most convenient option. However, I was disappointed to find that our table wasn't reserved when we arrived. We ordered food, but it took an incredibly long time to arrive. The service was quite poor. On a positive note, the selection of gin was very impressive.

Walked into The Gin Bar, greeted by lovely staff member who showed us to a table by the window. Whole bar is immaculate. Table service is done here, and order was taken after a few minutes of being sat down. Drinks arrived promptly (Gin cocktails are incredible). Music taste in the bar is just right (relaxing but upbeat) and fits right into our mood for the night. All bar staff I encountered were great, knowledgeable (staff know off-menu cocktails and many gin perfect serves) and excelled in customer service skills. Native to Newcastle, but just found this place when I searched for gin bars. Absolute gem of a place! Speisekarte ansehen
