"there were 5 people in our group for lunch, 2 vegan, 2 vegan and one omni. 4 of us actually ordered from the vegan menu and 1 ordered a vegetarian dish. my main thing was that 2 of us (I myself vegan and the omni in the group ordered the flat brot from the vegan food card it did not come advertising with chips, but when we ordered our waiter, we asked ourselves what chips we prefer so that we both asked for sweet potatoes. when the fries came out, they had a cheese on them (our order clearly from the separate vegan menu). I am not sure whether this was a mistake on the waiter or the kitchen, but the waiter was apologised. I shared the fries with one of the vegetarians in the group, so I simply avoided anyone who had been on them but I wonder now whether they were actually cooked in a separate frit and therefore they were not on the vegan menu?! regarding the personal know I was also disappointed when I asked what kind of vegetable burger it on the vegan meat base to find out. so I chose the flat brot instead and then had the cheese problem! my second main question is that eating was quite average, especially when you look at the price. 3 of us had advertised the vegan chocolate cake as with fresh berries. (2 of us originally ordered the Treakel-Tart, which was sold out, fair enough). but 2 of us can not thirsty eat, so in demand for the tart without them, expect others berries instead, but the only berries on the third berries was a lonely cubed earthly berries! the tart was also quite small, as he did not come with any food, but costs £6.25! overall it is great that they try with a vegan menu, but my view is that they have to try harder!"

The menu was OK but couldn't have the steak as it was off but on the whole it was fine the service was good in the end I had duck which was very nice my grandsons enjoyed it.

This was our 3rd Visit for Sunday Lunch, the service was friendly, the roast beef was really tender and tasty, average size portions, cauliflower cheese was lovely this time, previously it was undercooked and not cheesy at all, would definitely return again, lovely atmosphere.

beautiful, quiet atmosphere. beautiful, intelligent decor. the Valentines menu had a big choice. started with free bubbly. shared starter tasty. Unfortunately, a main work was finished and dry accompanied by linguine in a watery tomato sauce. but this was quickly corrected and replaced by now problem. the second main was great. the employees were welcoming and professional and adapted to reflect the error.

Long delay before main meal, it was hardly colder and was not freshly cooked, it had been dreadfully cooked at least hour before the frying carrots, we had almost finished the wee in very slow pace before the meal appeared. weinlist very limited and expensive, house red extremely poor wein I worked in wein trade and I would not serve this wein. our food was exceptionally good and of mama, sister and I liked it. the restaurant is a beautiful light with views of the grill place or towards southborough the road of trees and grass down. the restaurant has the hands over the many years I lived in southborough, but was always very good or excellent. Booked online with Bookatable, easy process and confirmed swiftly. On arrival we mistakenly waited at the check in counter, not realising at the time the venue was a hotel also! We were directed to the dining area where we were seated quickly by courteous friendly staff. Both ordered the beef Sunday roast which was lovely and good portion size accompanied by cauliflower cheese ordered as a side order. Sticky toffee pudding and bourbon ice cream was sublime my friend ordered creme brûlée which was equally tasty.
