Went here today and was cold in pub , waitress approach was rude, practically threw food at us and didn’t even talk, steak was sold as rump but was frying steak and full of fat, steak pie was average beautiful chips so overall unimpressed after travelling 30 mins to get there !! Edit to your reply sorry I carnt write a answer and we didn’t get a check back and we had to ask for drinks at bar and call someone over and I don’t wish for any badness with your staff as it was only one that we have a issue with as everyone else was pleasant !!

Great pub for a drink. Had a meal chicken and mushroom pie, chips and peas. Well the chips looked they had been fried twice, soggy and very greasy, peas was like bullets and pie was the smallest piece I had ever hadand looked like it had been run over it was that flat, no mushroom in it. We mentioned it to the staff who said what u want me to do about it, oh the care. It was very over priced to what we got. Looked on website for prices before going and told be prices on the menu on website was wrong and they had gone up. Booked the function room for surprise 80th birthday party. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Many thanks to the 2 ladies and the Gentleman who was around during time of the party to collect glasses, Uncover the buffet also clear up some empty pots. This room was well presented and ideal for parties. The only downfall was the toilets hadn't got any hand drying facilities. If you book this room need to sort your own music/disco lights but can be a magical time. I recommend this place 100%.
