Decent Sunday roast beef being the special today. Chef taken great care with all of it (roasties, mash, parsnips, carrots, Yorkshire, cabbage). Starters a bit more standard but staff super friendly.

My friends and I stayed at the hotel for a golfing weekend and we were extremely impressed with the overall service and quality of all our meals. We will definitely be coming back next year. Chris and his team go above and beyond to make sure that all customers are completely satisfied.

Super traditional, old style, family owned restaurant in a beautiful castle green location outside trendy North Berwick. Food is fine, service is friendly and the ambience is welcoming. It can get very hot in the brasserie area because of the big picture windows, but without them there is no view.

Wir hatten mit der Familie an einem Sonntag im Open Arms zum Lunch reserviert und bekamen einen Tisch in der Library zugewiesen. Ob das Sirloin Steak oder das servierte Lamm, so waren alle Gerichte durchaus köstlich. Zum Nachtisch gab es einen hervorragenden Sticky Toffee Pudding. Der Service war wirklich gut und schnell und wir haben uns gefreut mit dem Restaurant die richtige Wahl getroffen zu haben. Wenn man vorher seinen Besuch planen kann, sollte man besonders am Wochenende durchaus vorher reservieren.

Located in Dirleton, this restaurant has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu is varied and the Sunday lunch options are sufficient. The 3-course menu is reasonably priced. I dined in Deveau's conservatory, which had a nice and light decor. The mussel stew starter and haggis wellington were delicious. The slow-cooked lamb with berry sauce was very tasty, as was the breast of chicken stuffed with haggis wrapped in bacon with whiskey sauce. Don't miss out on trying the sticky toffee or caramelised fruit meringue for dessert. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was friendly.
