"Highly recommend this café if you're looking for a superb afternoon tea. The staff were friendly from the moment you walked through the door and nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely scrumptious! The sandwiches were lovely and fresh and I particularly liked that we could choose our own fillings in advance. The cheese and plain scones light and crumbly and still warm and the selection of cakes were delicious. In no way were my friend and I rushed to finish our tea. Actually it beat us and we were given boxes to take the remaining cake home. A lovely afternoon"

Popped in this morning for the first time. What a find. Small cosy cafe, dog friendly courtyard area and delicious cakes with great tea. Will definitely be in again.

nice to be able to revisit this wonderful caffe. friendly staff with a very good selection of food. my choice of vegetarian all day breakfast was delicious. I loved the gluten-free toast. my wife enjoyed her benedikt. booking before is recommended, as this place is very popular among the locals.

a nice little caffe. there are books of all sizes, not misleading with the name friendly, helpful staff. it is cozy and unique. a beautiful winter garden. eating is delicious and healthy. it is directly at the high street, so is the best place to park likely sainsbury 's parking. we had a nice time, thank you
